Juliana's I'm Still Here video remains on top in the last one month...
Looking at the videos released in the last one month, Juliana's 'I'm still Here' has remained at the top.
Rema's Banyabo video follows in that order and doing very well considering that it was released a week after Juliana's reggae hit.
Bebe Cool's 18 N Over was released at the same time with Juliana's I'm Still Here but the fans seem to prefer Juliana's looking at how the views have been behaving in the last three weeks.
Sheebah and Lydia Jazmine's collaboration song, 'Omuntu' was released around the same time with Bebe Cool's 18 N Over, but it's slightly trailing

Chameleone's Sili Mujawo is not doing well. Videos that have been released much later are doing a lot better. Sheebah and Lydia Jazmine had more views than Chameleone just two weeks after it was released.

Cindy rocks shorts for Kabaka's 62 birthday bash
Cindy set tongues wagging when she turned up for the Kabaka's birthday bash in shorts exposing her well toned legs.
The mom-of-one, then went on to do the Cindy-dance that upset Nnabagereka Sylvia Nnaginda to the point of leaving the venue in protest.(Queen not amused by Cindy opening her legs)
Fans are divided over this, but looking at the dress code of other artists who attended the bash, Cindy is left cruising in the same direction but on a wrong lane.

Iryn has always loved showing off her curvy body and will use every opportunity and so is Juliana, but looking at how they dressed for the bash, they had either been briefed or they knew what to do.
Looking at their outfits, you can't tell what shoes they were putting on and so is Rema who was equally clad in a very long black outfit, that's just how long their outfits were.
In fact, some fans bashed Iryn and Juliana saying that their outfits fell short, but they know which outfit for what occasion.
Cindy, who has just released her latest video; 'I Run this City' tried to give a similar impression when she performed her Selector song for the King but she fell flat.

Juliana speaks out on the I'm Still Here video
Star Singer, Juliana Kanyomozi, was yesterday appearing on 88.2 Sanyu FM and top on the agenda was her latest video. The show host, Crystal Newman asked her about the now trending issue, the J-Lo scene in the video.
"I had not even watched J-Lo's video, but during the shooting, I knew I had seen something like that before. We had a similar discussion with my sister who told me that when it comes to art, there's nothing you can do that has never been done before, look at Beyonce!.." Juliana said.
"I don't call this copying or stealing, It's an inspiration...You get inspired by someone else though I was not inspired by J-Lo."
In the song, we were trying to portray different women, there's a beauty queen, one in a gym, a housewife and another who sits on a couch, all these roles appeal to me in different ways. "I cook my food, mop my house and do my laundry and ironing, I do everything.."
Juliana wondered why one could concentrate on a few seconds of the video and leave the entire beautiful video. It's okay people are entitled to their positve criticism provided you don't attack anyone and you're not offensive, she concluded.
What some of the fans are saying:
Ronnie Mulindwa - "Juliana Earned her place in the industry a long time ago and she did it creatively and with a lot of talent. She doesn't need anyone's approval or critic anymore. She is free to do what she wants and how she wants. She earned her pass to do what she wants. She paid her dues long time..."
James Onen - "Lol mbu copy and paste. Leave Juliana alone. The Queen is back in the game."

Juliana Kanyomozi has eventually released her 'I'm Still Here' Video, It's a reggae tune.
" The wait is over..East Africa's number one female artist is back after a two year hiatus with yet another musically crafted masterpiece - I'm Still Here," A source from her camp noted on YouTube.
The fans are loving it, especially those that have been longing for something new from Juliana, some were wondering if she had quit the music industry as the likes of Winnie Nwagi, Irene Ntale and of course Sheebah Karungi were eating into her space.
It's a nice song and for Juliana doing reggae makes it even better, however, a section of her video is a replica of Jennifer Lopez's 'Ain't Your Mama' sparking an outrage from some who claim that the two year hiatus should not have had a trait of some other work.

Others urge that it's her love for J-Lo that caused all this. In the video, Juliana is seen scrubbing a checkered floor in a green dress and yellow gloves. J-Lo irons and so is Juliana not forgetting the same color of dress and similar fashion.
Short of that, it's a nice one. The two songs have a different message though, Juliana sings about one who has gone through hardships but is still here while J-Lo is singing about her lover who thinks she will do everything ranging from cooking and laundry.

Busiro MP elect, Peter Sematimba, was thrown out of parliament over inadequate qualifications, a position he has since appealed. The case has now bounced back to the appellate court to decide on the Super FM's CEO fate and until then, he will continue representing his constituents.
Radio Consultant, Joel Isabirye, says that Pirrra as close pals refer to him does not only deserve to be an MP but fit to be a Cabinet Minister too.
This forced singer Juliana Kanyomozi out of her hideout with this post;
"Yes his academic papers may be questionable but this guy has got a work ethic that's uncommon. I've grown up watching this guy innovate so many ideas and I've always been impressed. Yes he may have his personal issues but who doesn't. If it comes to work, this dude will deliver on 1000 as compared to so many so called 'abaasooma'.
"I think people need stop being petty and look beyond how someone chooses to look physically, that's none of our business if he chooses to use cosmetics. Question is will he deliver, is he smart and exposed, is he going to bring some fresh ideas, absolutely yes!"
What others are saying:
"If Sematimba had been intelligent enough, he would have gotten those qualifications between 2011 and 2015, but he wasted time and money on make-up and 'mama lussusu' services."
"It doesn't matter whether you drive a car in air, but if you don't have a driving permit, yo liable to pay fine or be imprisoned incase caught by a traffic officer!"

"Ndi munnauganda nga abalala bonna. It means we all have the same fundamental rights regardless of our positions in society, or political beliefs, or even life experiences. But there's one thing that brings us together, and that's humanity, obuntu. We are all from the human race."
"There's no need to use abusive, disrespectful, judgemental and insensitive language towards each other simply because of our different beliefs. That is not going to add any value to you or me. No need to use hateful speech to drive a point across. Let's agree to disagree on certain things, but respectfully. Rather than try to intimidate me to believe in what you believe in.... You also have the choice to support me in this musical journey or not to."
"I see absolutely no problem in that. I may be a musician and public figure, but away from the glitz and glam, I'm also a human being just like everybody else. When I started singing, it was never about getting rich or becoming famous. And till today, i don't base my happiness on those things because they come and go."
"I just wanted to sing and that's what I still want to do, JUST SING and also continue to grow as a God fearing woman who respects her elders and love and love as much as i can. It doesn't mean my life has been perfect, I've been through some of the most painful experiences, just like most of you."
"But those values have not changed till today. I would rather sing for 10 people who will see me beyond the lights, camera, make up, hair extensions and high heels but see my soul, happiness, tears , pain and flaws, and still love me regardless. And I will be happy with that. Everything I do, I do for God and my country. Be blessed everyone."

On the side of the UNAA Convention, Juliana and Chameleone took off time to check out America's most-visited tourist attractions like the World Trade Center in Manhattan, New York City and the Statue of Liberty.
In the pic, Chameleone captioned it as; 'Friends for Life' attracting comments like 'East African super stars', 'Africa's King and Queen with others demanding for a collabo from these two, but when you look at the two, the pic is suggesting just that, forever friends.
The Woman singer, Juliana Kanyomozi did not disappoint when she shared the same pic and her response was just as good, "Friends for Life for real, always good to see you bro," she concluded.

As Angella is suing the Kampala Sun and claiming for Shs200m in damages, Juliana has also come out to tell the tabloid that she actually looks hot with black lipstick...
Star singer Juliana Kanyomozi and Angella Katatumba are bitter with the Kampala Sun Tabloid. Angella is actually suing the tabloid for one of the stories they wrote about her. She is claiming shs200m in damages.
A few days back, Angella was spotted with Tanzanian businessman, Jack Pemba at Obama's in Kabalagala where they were hanging out with Jose Chameleone, the headline that followed in the tabloid was; 'Jack Pemba plays Angella Katatumba and Desire Luzinda'.
Jack Pemba is equally close to Desire Luzinda. Interestingly, when this happened, Angella just laughed it off because the amount they had tagged to the deal was in millions of dollars, so she was at that time very okay with it, but now, her lawyers have given Vision Group up to five days to respond.
Before that could settle, Juliana Kanyomozi is also up in arms saying, she is not scared of her make up like they had captioned in the pic, but she is actually rocking it as she explains;
"No Kampala Sun I ain't scared of my makeup, in fact I'm crazy about it. As you can see these shades are trendy now. It's you who's scared of it... but it's aight, I understand your struggle," The Kalibatanya singer wrote on her wall.

Fit to Burst
Juliana Kanyomozi's ex, Amon Lukwago and girlfriend, Liz Kabagenyi, are expecting their first child, it's a baby boy.
"These two have been dating for long, I'm surprised it took them this long, congs to the lovely couple.." One wrote. Amon is the father to Juliana's only child, Keron, who passed on last July and yet he had wished that mom and dad could celebrate Christmas together but that did not come to pass.
The fans pleaded with Juliana and Amon to make up at least to fulfill Keron's wish, but Juliana told of how she was not ready for another relationship. In fact, after Keron's death, Amon was by Juliana's side for several days but this could do very little in putting the broken pieces together, instead, Liz was very upset and in the process ordered Amon to return home immediately.
During her baby shower bash a few days back, Liz showed off the baby bump in a stylish white dress and the blue and white cake had the 'Push Liz' inscriptions on it.
Juliana and Amon were a happy couple back in the 90's but called it quits after failing to reconcile irreconcilable differences and then came Litz....!

Gossip queen, Mary Luswata, on her Scoop on Scoop show had this to say;
"Juliana Kanyomozi has failed to grow musically, she is producing the same stuff she produced 10 years ago. You look at a song that she has released and is calling brand new and you shudder."
Team Juliana has taken that as constructive criticism because moments later, the Woman singer embarked on the video shoot for her latest song, Kalibatanya, which Mary Luswata is branding as average.
And today, Juliana came out confirming exactly that with a quote from former professional basket ball star, Michael Jordan.
"My attitude is that if you push me towards something that you think is a weakness, then I will turn that perceived weakness into a strength."
For now, the fans should just wait for what is next as she turns the perceived weakness into a strength. However, the other female artists are also not seated may be this was the reason behind Luswata's opinion.

With just a day to Valentine's day, Juliana has said she hates chocolates, so if you are one of those who were thinking of sending her presents that could blow her mind off, chocolates should not be one of them.
The Woman singer was this morning appearing on NTV Mwasuze Mutya program by news anchor and host, Faridah Nakazibwe, they talked about a number issues ranging from her music, personal lifestyle, and life after losing her only son and most importantly how she has been able to cope.
Ugandan music has improved lately and it's crossing all over the world. The Oriflame Ambassador recalled of an email she received from Bahamas by someone who wanted to write about the Woman song. My first concert in 2005 was more of a show case than making money, right now, we have endorsements and concert bookings as ways in which musicians can make money.
Asked about what she does to have such an attractive voice, the diva said that she does vocal training but also added that she has been singing since she was 6. I'm a lightweight when it comes to drinking, two glasses of wine will be the limit. Oh I hate chocolates and only take plenty of water before a performance.
The show host also asked about the female artistes who she regards as good, Juliana talked of Irene Ntale, Rema (has a big voice) before generalizing that they are many out there.
Juliana also touched briefly about social media which she said that it has given them a voice but it has also been abused, she crowned off the show with the Woman a cappella, which clearly brought out the vocal ability in her.

Juliana was yesterday on NTV to premiere her latest song, Woman, which is her come back song after losing Keron, her only child. She went through a lot thinking about what to sing about most especially after what happened to her last year, composing a club banger was the last thing on her mind.
The song celebrates women and it's about women in general. "I have been singing about so many things but I had not done anything for the women."
In the video, she featured all the women who inspire her ranging from the Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, Former Ethics and Integrity minister, Miria Matembe, Queen Mother of Tooro Kingdom Best Kemigisa, rally ace Susan Muwonge, Uganda Police Deputy Police Commissar Judith Nabakooba among others. Her mom and sister Laura also featured in the video..
The women out there are so many that she could include all of them in a four-minute video.
The show host, Douglas Lwanga, asked Juliana what her take was on the latest leaked tape of a TV personality, who happens to be a woman now that her song was about women.
"I don't think that any woman in her right sense would release her nakedness and if at all there are women out there who do it deliberately, they are a disgrace because they are humiliating all women."
"And to the men who are releasing those pics, that is malice and cowardice, there are many ways you can handle her other that leaking her pics."
Juliana is in studio with Radio and Weasel and they will soon be releasing tracks. The Woman singer said that she is in advanced stages of doing something for Keron that will be communicated soon.

"Finally!!! Our Official Juliana page has been verified. Now family, you know what to do. If you have been following those FAKE impersonators. Ya'll need to unfollow now and come home where you belong . Much Love. Blessings," Juliana wrote.
This is just days after Desire Luzinda's account was verified. Others whose accounts are verified include Flavia Tumusiime, Angela Katatumba, Mariam Ndagire, Anne Kansiime, Maurice Kirya and President Museveni.
Desire and Juliana's fans have suffered untold losses from fake accounts. When Desire's pics leaked, some fake accounts were extorting money from unsuspecting individuals in the guise of raising funds for a court battle. The same thing happened to Juliana when she lost her only son, Keron, fake accounts had a field day collecting condolence fees plus other related costs.
With more accounts being verified, this will mitigate against such losses.
NTV Be My Date is one account in dire need of verification. Anita Fabiola, the show host has made it a point that she talks about the difference between the real page and the fake page, but surprisingly, the fake page has its followers increasing by the day.
Juliana is now calling onto the lost souls to quickly rush home or they keep following the wrong accounts at their own peril. The big boys, Chameleone, Bebe Cool are yet to be verified...!

It's one thing to have a facebook profile and another to have it verified.
The list of verified facebook accounts in Uganda is increasing by the day with the very latest being Desire Luzinda. President Museveni, Capital FM's Flavia Tumusiime, artiste Angella Katatumba and actress Mariam Ndagire are the others whose accounts are verified. Maurice Kirya prominently features on the verified list as the only male artist.
Any dealings with a verified account means that you are dealing directly with that person or someone authorized to operate that account. Comedienne Anne Kansiime is a 'Ninja' just like her tag line. She is Uganda's most liked person on Facbook with over 500,000 followers/likes.

Angella Katatumba closely follows with about 350k followers. We also have facebook profiles that are yet to be verified and these include; Bebe Cool (278, 765 likes), Chameleone (192,071likes), Juliana (209,174 likes) and Bobi Wine with 73,552 likes.
A verified account will save your fans from being fleeced. She was forced to report the matter to police.

Juliana has warned of fraudsters who are duping the public asking for money, and also taking advantage of Keron's death to extort money from unsuspecting individuals.
Just a few weeks back, we told of how Capital FM's Flavia Tumusiime facebook account got verified (has a blue badge). Take note, it's the only individual account after President Museveni.
Juliana has been warning her fans and she continues to do so, but the fake network seems to be too large for her to handle. However, matters were made worse when her only son, Keron passed on, the fraudsters were having a field day as Juliana explains.
"You all know that these fake Facebook accounts are still out there. Now until the authorities can come out in a big way n help with the problem of Internet fraud, there's not much we can do."

"You will not get away with this. But even those who send these idiots money, Don't be so gullible. I've been warning you for so long. So if you send your money to these con men, you do so at your own risk. Peace and love."

Juliana Kanyomozi's only son, Keron Raphael Kabugo, was laid to rest today in Matugga, Kiryangonja. During the funeral service at All Saints Cathedral, Keron's doctor at Nakasero Hospital told mourners that he suffered eight rounds of cardiac arrest.
Doctors here and in Nairobi did all they could to save Keron's life, but the extremely aggressive infection to the lungs plus the cardiac arrests made it difficult for him to survive, the doctor added.
Keron was branded a fighter. In a note to his dad, Keron told of how he had been injected many times but could no longer feel the pain nor cry.

Juliana has been strong all through and also appealed to her super fans to be strong, but during that moment as the pall bearers lowered Keron, she could not hold it...

21.Jul.2014 - Updated: Keron did not make it. He passed on Sunday at 10:25am. My angel has just gone to the world. What was spreading earlier was a rumour. He passed away at 10:25am this (Sunday) morning. He's been such a fighter. Thank you for praying for my lil angel. I will try n be as strong as I possibly can. Rest in peace Keron. Sleep well my son. Till we meet again, " Juliana wrote.
Keron's body will arrive on Monday (21.Jul). There will be a night vigil at Kawuku, Gaba followed by a requiem mass on Tuesday at All Saints Cathedral. He will be buried in Matugga. R.I.P Keron.
19.Jul.2014 - Earlier:
Juliana's son, Keron Raphael Kabugo, is currently admitted at Aga Khan hospital after suffering an asthma attack. The 12-year-old got the attack while at school.
"My Family and I would like to inform my friends and Fans that my little Angel Keron has not been well after suffering a severe asthma attack while at school. He is currently admitted at Aga Khan Hospital Nairobi, and is getting the best medical attention."
The Tusker Project Fame judge asked fans, friends and family to include him in their prayers. "I am by his bedside 24hours. Please join us in Praying for my Little Angel for his quick recovery. Thank You," Juliana communicated through her personal assistant.
Recently, Keron was watching telly with her mom when a video by Juliana was showing on TV, and in the video, a male model was holding Juliana in a manner that forced Keron to pose questions; 'Who is that guy in the video?'.
Explanations by Juliana did not add up without mincing any words, Keron told his mom that he does not like the way the model in the video was touching her. Quick recovery, Keron!

The Nyonyi Nkezze singer has been watching that space carefully and in no time, tickets for the Best of Big Size, Xtra Large Bebe Cool's show will be sold out. The numbers are likely to surpass the Don Moen show which had fans standing in the upper section of Victoria Hall courtesy of the cheap concert tickets.
Juliana's 100k show was a sell out, Desire's was 100k but fairly attended, Judith Babirye tried 150k only to reduce it to 100k, but it flopped. Gospel artist, Don Moen charged 120k and it was a full house plus the last Jazz concert which had revellers paying 300k, it was also a success.
Chameleone has a show in December but his cover price is 1M/- no more, no less. With that background, Bebe Cool has a fairly attractive package with tickets of 50k for the general happiness, which he adds will be a red carpet affair, plus a table for 3M/- which comes with a bottle of wine.
Zuena's husband also has the Xtra large VVIP category, not sure if it's a table or a ticket, but it's a category bigger than big going for 5M/- which comes with food and a bottle of wine among others.
This should be for those who will be paying the 1M/- for Chameleone's December show, It's no wonder, he told them (Chameleone and Bobi Wine) to hurry and book tables so that they can learn from him when it comes to performing.

Keron - "I Don't Like The Way He Touches You !"
Juliana Kanyomozi's son, Keron (10) cannot stand the sight of his mom being touched in a certain way. This afternoon, Keron told his mom that he does not like the way the guy in the 'Olibeera Nange' video touches her as she goes on to explain;
"So we are watching tv with Keron n they play 'Olibeera Nange'.. about 2mins into the video he asks with a serious face. "Who's that guy in the video?".. Me: Oh he's a model by profession. We hired him to act in the video. Then he drops the bomb.. "I don't like the way he's touching you". Hoooo trouble!! hahahaha."
In the video, the model assures Juliana that they will be together at all times just like the title of the song suggests. In the same vein, Juliana returns the love as the model plants a hot kiss on the head while the two hold each other tenderly.
"Awwwwwwww... Protective I like. You need to rethink future videos," Fellow Tusker Project Fame judge, Ian Mbugua, commented.
Juliana split with Amon Lukwago the father of her only son several years back. Keron was young then but now, he is old enough to know a bad touch and a good touch.

The SERENA Galz!
First, it was Juliana who filled up Victoria hall to the brim way before KCCA had banned outdoor concerts, but, the Nseyeya singer felt having taken six years without a concert, her fans deserved something out of the ordinary and Serena was the place for her concert. It was a sold out show.
International Jazz artistes have made it their home and filling up that hall is no problem at all.
Next was top Gospel artiste, Judith Babirye whose Webale concert did not do that well considering that international Gospel artist, Don Moen had just performed in the same venue two days back.
A week later, Desire Luzinda was to be in the same venue for her Black and White affair. No doubt, Desire has looked up to Juliana in a number of ways, and holding a concert after six years, in the same venue like Juliana did was one of them.
Desire was shocked by the turn up that she had to go on her knees to thank her fans for the support. Trust Desire, during the show, she had to be raised on a certain platform for her fans at the back rows to have an ample view of their star. The turn up was good but not compared to Juliana's.

Juliana has come out to say that she was not aware that she was dating an American until she saw today's Hello Tabloid with a screaming headline - 'Juliana Hooks American Star'
''These guys must be the biggest jokers of the century hehehehe. Well at least judging by the headlines I always see about myself. I didn't know I was dating some American N***** these days lol (oh u can trust me they used the 'N' word, one of the most offensive words in English vocabulary, to refer to the poor guy.). Anyway Collin Sserubiri, was really great catching up with you at cayenne... Ya'll remember him. Former Jam Agenda host on WBS right? Lol.''
Juliana who was in the company of her brother was with Collin Serubiri at Cayenne trying to catch up on lost time. Meanwhile, Juliana is done with the recording of their collaboration song with the Ganda boys. Craig Pruess who sings with the Ganda Boys was pleased to work with the 'Nkyanoonya' singer.
"I was more than happy. The song itself got bigger and bigger and bigger. It was very exciting to experience. Juliana, that is TRUE," Craig Pruess wrote.
"Thank you Craig. It's such an honor working with you and the Ganda Boys," Juliana replied.

I'm In Love With The First One-Desire
Pepsi's blue color theme threatens to overshadow Desire Luzinda's black and white colours after they joined the line-up of sponsors for a show that will be held at Serena Hotel on June 6, 2014.
"Which of the two is better, I'm in love with the first one," she asks her fans. The package must have been hefty at least from the look on the banner, Pepsi is the major sponsor while Club, 93.3 KFM, NBS and Silk Events, to mention but a few, are the other sponsors.
The 'Equation' singer confirms that she is already in love with the first banner, which has Pepsi colours predominantly displayed, all we can say...Money Talks!
Just like Juliana, Desire is charging shs 100,000 as entrance fee, the show is also expected to sell out courtesy of her curves...!

Whatever she looked at was Awesome!
This was at the Zzina awards last Thursday at Theatre La Bonita. Amon - dad of singer Juliana Kanyomozi's son, Keron was spotted with his on-and-off girl friend, Liz following proceedings at the award event that saw Radio and Weasel win five awards.
However, in the pic, Amon's babe looked in awe at the way the performers at the Zzina awards did their thing. Amon was composed but the babe was so glued to the performance that not even a vibrating phone was loud enough to divert her attention.
Meanwhile, Juliana's ex has resorted to decorating his body with multiple tattoos.

Juliana was recognised for the second year in a row for the role she has played in the music industry.
"Thank you Airtel for this wonderful recognition. As a young girl singing was my dream, but my prayer was, "lord help me use my music and voice to become a source of inspiration to others". To all the ladies out there, never let anyone tell you you can't. People will only put you down if you let them. Thank you to my amazing fans for voting, but most of all, for always helping me keep the faith. We did it in 2013 and we've done it again in 2014. Team Juliana, Lets go!."

After receiving the Airtel Woman of Substance Award, Juliana who was in a relatively long dress thrilled her fans with a crotch-grabbing performance leaving many of her fans excited because, it was a surprise performance as she was not part of those lined up to perform that night.

Tubonge star is mourning the death of his close pal, ADAM KEITA, following his death on Tuesday (04Feb14).

The Rastaman, famed for his appearance in Chameleone's 'Jamila' video and also playing a big part in the star's music journey, died after collapsing near Rubaga filling station and Chameleone has been left heart broken by the sad news.
In his Wednesday (05Feb14) post, the singer reveals of how he has not forgotten how far they have come. Chameleone talks of their childhood times, and how Keita promoted him in Nairobi.
He writes: "RIP comrade "Adam Keita" We came along way as kids from Nakasero Primary when we met as childhood friends, We further grew into boys and still kept the relationship as friends."
"You Introduced me to the streets, and promoted me to Nairobi as a hustler on the "Mawingo bus" I returned as a brother and we together planned the "Jamila" video in which your face will remain for life even when you gone. May the almighty father keep your soul in eternal peace."
Juliana Kanyomozi was also a friend to Keita and very saddened that no one had told her about his condition. Keita had been ill for sometime.
Juliana writes: "Adam Keita.. It is so sad you are gone. You were such a wonderful soul, every time I saw you ,you had this big smile on yo face. You always reminded me of my late cousin brother prince Roger (R.I.P), jus like him, you lit up a room when u walked in. Jus like him, everyone in Kampala was your friend. Rich, poor, big, small, black, white, famous, powerful you name them."
"But it breaks me that you died in such conditions. You didn't deserve that. Someone should have said something. I'm sure we would have joined hands to help a good brother out. Sleep well Adam Keita. R.I.P"

"I think my son is really a good photographer. Oh I love him to bits." Those were Juliana's comments after sharing pictures that were taken by her son, Keron.
One wondered if it was the photographer who was good or the one who was photographed was just photogenic, the 'Olibeera Nange' singer insisted the photographer was good. It was not long before some of her fans told her that, he's so grown now, time o have another one, which demands she ignored.
Juliana is busy with her 2014 music with her first release for 2014 already out in which is a slow song.

In the last three weeks, Juliana has been dominating front pages courtesy of her latest true friend, King Lawrence. On Friday, The Mighty Red Pepper under the title - 'Why Men Use and Dump Juliana' wrote that; "Despite being stable financially, Juliana gets a lot of excitement with her men."
"She recently, for example, left her kid alone in her posh crib in Lungujja and shifted to plush Serena Hotel to please King Lawrence, but 'the seer' King Lawrence did not see in her characteristics of a responsible wife." The article went on to list other men in her life that include Amon, the father of her son, US based Kick-boxer, Kassim Ouma, Mujib Kasule and now King Lawrence.
This and so many others rubbed Juliana the wrong way. On Saturday, using her facebook profile, she wrote a 'lovely' message to her haters:
"To my haters, I'm gonna say this and it comes with love. I have always wondered why one chooses to hate on another fellow human being, especially when good things are happening to that person. I've seen this pattern play out in my life for very many years."
Juliana goes on to say: "There is a reason why God chose me out of so many and gave me this amazing voice and success that has come with it. There is a reason he did not choose you. 1. Because you don't have the character to carry it and handle the success that comes with it, 2. Because he has an individual plan for you."
She concludes: "I have found my plans, go and seek yours, I have also found my purpose in life. Stop wasting your time trying to hate on others. That hatred is poisoning you inside. Just because you want to have something does not mean it's right for you. God Bless You."
The message that is about to receive 1,000 comments is loud and clear to the 'hater' or 'haters' and interestingly, King Lawrence was on of those that responded to her post. "My Good Friend, It's good you finally tell them." Juliana immediately responded to King Lawrence by saying: "Thank you for being a true friend my dear."

The Tusker Project Fame judge, Juliana Kanyomozi is top on the list of artists to look out for in the next 12 months. Though she is good, Juliana is a talent that has to be watched in 2014 following the King Lawrence issue.
Having set the region alight with her track 'Nabikoowa' on falling out with Amon, the dad of her son, Juliana is now showing us that she is not just any type of girl jumping around and looking pretty but actually has some thing in store for her fans.
"2014 fasten your seat belts." is a message off her wall while in studio busy recording her latest music which is likely to have a track to do with King-Lawrence. Our artists have a tendency of releasing music based on situations around them.
We've seen this happen in Bebe Cool's 'Agenze' after Zuena left him, Chameleone's 'Abayuda' when Weasel and Moze Radio left his Leone Island's Crew and many more.
Now, given Juliana's vocal ability, that statement should not be taken lightly especially in the cirlces of fast rising female stars like Irene Ntale, Fille Clear and the old guards alike. Iryn Namubiru was one of those who responded to her post by writing; "Fastened."
Meanwhile, 2013 was an amazing year for her as she sums it up:
"What an mazing year it's been for me. And I thank my God for it. I've had a couple of milestones some of which I won't mention here. My dream came true when I finally had my 'Upclose and Personal' concert which was a success. Thanks to the fans, sponsors and my team who always leave me humbled by the love they have for me, I salute you all. And were I haven't been perfect, I apologise for being human. Happy and blessed 2014."

The drama kings, King Lawrence and Ivan Semwanga are done with their holiday and are already off to South Africa after causing a lot of social mayhem. "The rich gang is out of 256, anybody can now take over," King noted on his wall.
Having visited all top hang outs in the city, King and Ivan wrapped up their holiday with Club Venom last night doing what they do best, and as you can see, they just dashed to the airport there after. They must have had their luggage in car boots, because, they are clad in the same clothes they were in at Club Venom.
This has been the most interesting season ever that saw King hang out with Juliana at Serena in all forms. His explanation that nothing went down landed on deaf ears, but then also, Juliana came out to put this on record that whether you believe it or not, she is best of friends with King Lawrence.
Then the beating up of Zari's sisters by Ivan was the epitome of madness that left Zari very bitter and terming him a disgrace, in fact, her tweets indicate that they are yet to reconcile following the beating.

"I don't choose friends based on position in society. I will choose who I want to be friends with and I won't have to explain to no one. So to you radio presenter, im not going to change my friends just because you don't like them. Get used to it and move on."
Those were Juliana's words to some radio presenter who was concerned that she was moving out with King Lawrence, a South African based businessman. In the last ten days, the couple has been lovey dovey, at least as seen from the photographic evidence in the various shots in and around Serena Hotel.
At some point, it was reported that King had been thrown out of the hotel due to unpaid bills, but trust him, to dispel those rumours, he shared a picture with clothes and strings scattered on the hotel floor and bed in the hotel room as if to prove a point. This led to his being bashed on social networking sites.
Juliana, still holds her head up high and she says; "The important thing to realize is that no matter what people's opinions may be, they are only just that - people's opinions. You have to believe in your heart what you know to be true about yourself. And let that be that."

Juliana took off a moment from her busy schedule with new found love, King Lawrence to thank her super fans who made an x-mas cake for her.
"Thank you my super fans for my cake. You guys are truly amazing and I'm blessed to have you in my life. Merry Xmas Team Juliana. I will revenge so be afraid."
One of her super fans was Judith Heard who had this to say: "Merry Christmas my beloved. As we know, the year 2013 is soon out and 2014 in; may God bring back to you the best memories of 2013 and take away the troubles you went through in 2013; above all, he may make your desires, wishes, dreams undertaken, projects become realities in 2014.
Meanwhile, Dec 24, was her mom's birthday. "I can't find words to describe how much I love you and adore you mum. I'm so thankful to God for you, Happy Birthday Abwooli."

Fearing the mini-skirt scouts to trail her, Juliana was spotted putting on a blue short that was relatively long enough but also comfortable for her new found boo, King Lawrence, who is on a rush mission to ‘explore’ the diva in the few days he’s around.
The two were at Serena Hotel enjoying a cool breeze as she sipped her lager, though, she would have loved to be clad in something more revealing than the short she was putting on.
"So this anti-pornography bill that will ban mini skirts, what criteria will be used to conclude that this is a mini skirt and this is erotic behavior? and by whose standards? Just wondering," Juliana wrote on her wall.
Meanwhile, the couple spent a greater part of this afternoon resting in their hotel room while listening to hits from Tupac and Beyonce. King Lawrence earlier dedicated ‘Kibaluma’ to his ‘haters’.
Now those excited about the new love birds have even changed the ‘Kibaluma’ lyrics to reflect the current situation; “Buli Koyambula, Kibaluma Buli Kalungi Kosaza Kibaluma…”
At this rate, all these dudes from South Africa will hook themselves a female musician. First it was Ivan with Sharon O, Leila and SK Mbuga are in the thick of things. Just recently, Phina Mugerwa of the Masanyalaze fame lost her luggage while coming from South Africa after checking on her boo, Kenneth Muyiisa, and now, Juliana Kanyomozi with King Lawrence.
We wonder who is next because Katsha should equally be looking for one now that his Sushi party is around the corner.

The 'Mundeke Mwagale' singer, Juliana Kanyomozi has lashed out at some radio presenter who was on her case over Ivan Semwanga's young brother, King Lawrence also based in South Africa. The two have been spotted at several hang out joints in town. At this rate, it looks like Juliana has found love in King Lawrence.
Initially, many thought it was a case of a celeb taking a pic with a fan which was kind of okay, but then, the two were again spotted together at Zari's White party with Juliana taking red wine and King sipping white wine. Realizing that the photo sessions had become too much, King tried to cover up:
"Bumped into JK and asked for a pic, " a comment that Juliana and Ivan plus 77 others liked. Seconds later, Juliana replied: "Yapppp..I seem to bump into the King a lot. Hmmm." This 'bumping' into each other has caused some eyebrows to raise though some raised eyebrows like the radio presenter won't like this a single bit.
Juliana seemed not to like the way the radio presenter was making her the topic for the day, she quickly shot back saying that she does not choose friends based on position in society. Here is her full post:
"I just heard a radio presenter up in arms because Juliana is friends with someone who apparently shouldn't be. He made a statement that: Juliana Princess waffe Omulamba, Now to you Ssebo, what does it matter whether i'm a princess or not when i'm choosing my friends?"
I don't choose friends based on position in society. I will choose who I want to be friends with and I will not have to explain to no one. Juliana concluded in her stinger to the radio presenter that:
"So to you radio presenter, I'm not going to change my friends because you don't like them, get used to it and move on."

We hope this is not another case similar to that of Sharon O. King Lawrence and Zari don't see eye to eye as he was one of those who were very happy after Zari pulled out of her relationship with Ivan after finding them with Sharon O, she even blessed them. King Lawrence even went to the extent of photoshopping a customized number-plate in the name of SHARON O which he placed on some Range Rover.

She's no stranger to looking her best when it comes to flaunting curves.
But instead of showing off some cleavage, Juliana Kanyomozi opted for a stunning open back animal print as she attended the Tusker Project Fame Grand Finale in Nairobi on Sunday.
The 33-year-old ensured her back could be seen while supplementing it with black leggings, but once the show was done and Burundi's Hope was declared the Tusker Project Fame 6 winner, it was party time. In one of the pics, the 'Nakazadde' singer is armed with a wine glass.
During the Grand Finale, she completed her look with ankle strap heels and black leggings, but as you can see, they were later pulled off to reveal more of her slimline figure.

Today is Juliana's special day, It's her birthday. Congratulatory messages have been streaming in since last night. The 'Edibba' singer has spent a greater part of the day responding to tweets and facebook messages from fans who have been wishing her the very best on her day. Notable among them was fellow Tusker Project Fame judge, Ian Mbugua.
Many were doubting her age but this afternoon, she set the record straight and said that: "I was born on 27 November 1980," making her 33.
One Marilyn had this to say: "To all those who doubt people's ages, gone are the days when a 24 year old looked like your grand mothers. Ok, for the start, how old do you think Halima Namakula or Mariam Ndagire are? Do they look their years? At least I went to the same school with Juliana and Irene Namubiru."
She continues to say: "I was 3 classes a head of Juliana while Irene was 2 classes a head of me. I don't doubt her age. Or is it because she is tall, she has a big body. I have come to believe some people who complain about others are even younger than those they complain about. If you are younger than her, then when did you see her grow?"

Juliana is quickly approaching her 32nd birthday. Three days back, she shared a picture in which she was indeed looking a lot younger prompting comments like: "She's made it look too artificial."
"Very poor photo shop as it was even mirrored, the eye ring is on the right side of the face not left as on the real photo.." Yesterday, Juliana bounced back with yet another photo which was an upclose of her face.
This move seemed like a retaliation to the above comments. In the photo, Juliana makes a point on the eye pin and just in case any one is casting doubt about her looking younger than her age, there she was with another upclose shot for the doubting thomases.
Five days from now, Juliana will be turning 32, but many are like NOPE. In the first pic, Juliana was not smiling, so some fans demanded that they can only recognize her after she smiles, she did not dissapoint, in just a few hours, she released a shot wearing a smile.
Talk of celebs connecting with their fans on facebook!

Juliana Kanyomozi held her second concert since 2007 yesterday at Kampala Serena Hotel. The upclose and personal show was a success with Victoria Hall filled to capacity. It was money well spent for all those that attended.
Juliana hit the stage at exactly 8:30pm doing 'Nabikoowa' followed by 'Mundeke' with crowds singing along. "It's so nice to see all of you here, Thank you for coming. It's six years since I last had a concert," Juliana said. The event featured Brian Mugenyi who thrilled fans with his saxophone and guitarist Myco Ouma.
Others included Moses Matovu of Afrigo Band. Juliana's concert lasted for two hours doing songs like 'Kanyimbe', 'Kibaluma', 'Nkyanoonya' and 'Mpita Njia' among others. She also performed her latest, 'Nakupenda'. At some point, Victoria hall was turned to as dance floor as the show was coming to an end.
Kick-boxer, Moses Golola of Uganda joined Juliana doing his kick-boxing dance strokes. Juliana thanked her entire team that she worked with to come up with a success full concert. "Workin with each one of u has made me a better artist. I'm so proud to be associated with u. Thank u."
At the end of it all, Juliana did not forget her fans who have been there for her all these years. "I don't know how to thank you all. It's beyond words. Thank you for the love you showed me. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to entertain you. It's such a thrill."

Rema not being in Gagamel Crew not news anymore. The Kukaliba singer was expelled from the group by the Gagamel CEO, Bebe Cool using facebook after he learnt of her forthcoming concert on Oct 18, 2013 that has since been shifted from Club Obligatto to Hotel Equatorial Parking.
Last Thursday, Bebe was asked by NTV's Douglas Lwanga what Rema's future was and this was his response: "Let her focus on the forward by looking at the past mistakes. My design for her was totally different, I never made Rema to go jumping on weddings as a business, never, that disorganized my plans."
"I thought I could make an artiste that I can send to Channel O, because Rema sings better than I do when it comes to voices, you want it in New York, Nigeria and not at a wedding in Kyaliwajala."
Matters were made worse during the Kokodiosis concert when Bebe introduced a 10-year-old Congolese girl she had discovered from the on-going NTV Talent XP auditions: "With this young girl, I have the new Rema," Bebe told the guests. Rema has been busy working on her songs for the Kukaliba Concert not having time to respond to her being sacked.
But this time around, she made it clear that no one can bring you down or even make you feel less about yourself. "Lovely people, do what you want and say what you feel because, it's a matter of believing in yourself and no one, I repeat it NO ONE should bring you down or make you feel less about your self. Kukaliba Concert 18th Oct. @ Equatorial parking."
Since her being sacked from Gagamel, fans have been supportive and showing her love. Regarding her replacement, most of her fans insist, she is irreplaceable. Meanwhile, on the very day of Rema's Concert, The Tusker Project Fame judge, Juliana Kanyomozi will be holding her second concert since 2007 at serena Hotel and what is more amazing is that the songs; 'Eddiba' and 'Kukaliba' are similar in a way.
Rema has some wedding do's lined up for this month, and on Oct 12, she will be with Eddy Kenzo at The 'Omubimba' show in the UK before coming back to Uganda for the 'Kukaliba' concert. END

Rehema Namakula aka Rema was fired from Bebe Cool's Gagamel Crew a few weeks back after it turned out that she had sold her 'Kukaliba' album to KT Promotions. She got shs10m for the bold move. Rema did all this without involving her mentor, Bebe Cool and yet she had major roles to play in the 'Kosidiosis' album launch.
Of course, this rubbed BEBE the wrong way that he had no choice but to fire the 'Kukaliba' singer using facebook to ensure that the message does not get stuck in the outbox, assuming it was an email. Now that Rema had hinted on it a day before her sacking, it became clear to all that she was holding her concert on 18 October, 2013 at Club Obligatto.
Just two days back, the Tusker Project Fame judge announced that she will be having a live concert at Serena Hotel on Oct 18, 2013 where she will be playing most of her old hits and the new songs that include: 'Omutima Oguluma', 'Ndibulungi', 'Give It 2Mi' and her very latest, 'Eddiba' among others.
On the other hand, Rema will be doing her 'Kukaliba', 'Oliwange', 'Atuuse' and 'Fire Tonight' among others. Her blockbuster hits with Bebe Cool which include 'Cease and Seckle' and 'Missing You' hang in balance now that she is not part of the Gagamel Crew anymore. This has left fans loyal to both artistes with having to choose which show to attend.
However, music pundits say there's no problem with both holding their concerts on the same day by virtue of the locations. The 'Juliana Live Concert' will take care of the upscale fans while the 'Kukaliba' concert could as well take care of everyone.

Police in Iganga was yesterday battling with the Municipality MP Peter Mugema with his supporters after they stormed the main district hospital demanding that water be restored at the wards and staff quarters. Apparently, water at the hospital was disconnected over two years back due to an outstanding balance of Shs30m.
The hospital then resorted to pumping water to supply the entire hospital and the staff quarters. Unfortunately, the pump broke down two months back prompting the area MP who goes by the nickname 'Panadol' to protest the move. Speaking to journalists, the MP said that calls to relevant authorities like the Ministry of Health were not helping.
Juliana who was hours into releasing her latest 'Eddiba' video was so disgusted on learning about this. The diva decided to add her voice to that of Iganga's 'Panadol' in calling for the restoration of water to the hospital that serves about 500 people per day.
"But surely National Water and Sewerage Corporation how do you disconnect water supply to a hospital where hundreds of patients are admitted, women are delivering babies and operations being done. If the hospital owes you money can't you be creative and think of another way to get your money? May be instalments or something. It's a hospital, people are sick and they need help come on," Juliana noted.

Juliana Kanyomozi, is perfectly good at the microphone, she is also a judge in the Tusker Project Fame, a reality show Star Academy that identifies talent, and she says; the Goodlyfe Crew are winners irrespective of whether they got the 'Best Africa Act' nod or not in the recently concluded BET Awards.
The 'Nkyanoonya' singer recalled of how she met Moze Radio at a bar in Rubaga, back then when he was unknown with only one hit, 'Sweet Lady' the only song he played as he curtain raised for the ''BIG Artistes''. Juliana adds that on that day, she told her pals that: "There's something about that guy's voice that's very special, I have a strong feeling one day he'll be very successful not only in Uganda but Africa n beyond."
In her words, the diva seems to have discovered Moze Radio back then, no wonder, she is now a judge charged with the responsibility of identifying talent in aspiring musicians.
Juliana concludes: "So as someone who saw that boy in a small bar in Rubaga, seeing him come from that to THE BET AWARDS, means one thing, the God we serve is an amazing God and once he has put his hand on you, no one can take it away. Never under estimate the power of talent!!!"
Meanwhile, Juliana was planning something big with Iryn Namubiru, but looks like all these plans were thwarted by the problems that befell her (Iryn) a few months back. Iryn has now moved to France to try and clear her mind following the Japan saga and the death of her dad.

Update - Multi award-winning star Juliana Kanyomozi will on Saturday, 25 May 2013 perform at Club Submarine - Dhow Palace Hotel. The event had earlier on been scheduled for (18 May) but postponed to this Saturday.
Juliana was one of the artistes who turned up for Iryn Namubiru's special service at All Saints Cathedral on Wednesday. However, during the service, Rev. Diana Nkesiga forgot and referred to Juliana instead of Iryn as she said a prayer. The 'Give it to Me' singer will rock her fans in Dubai with her latest music and other old tracks that everyone knows.
Some of Juliana's hottest tracks include: 'Nabikoowa', 'Diana', 'Nkyanoonya', 'Iam Ugandan', 'Omutima Oguluma' among others.
A few days back, Juliana shot back at those who were linking her to Kenya's Tusker Project Fame judge, Ian Mbugua that the two were to wed end of this month. In a message off her wall, she simply said that they should not bother her.
"Just arrived in Dubai. It's ON!!!!! Can't wait to see all the lovely fans tomorrow. Yaaayyyyy." Juliana confirmed after arriving in Dubai.

One of Uganda's finest singers and city diva Juliana Kanyomozi has refuted claims that she will be getting married to Tusker Project Fame Judge Ian later this month.
When the (Ian-Juliana) rumor kicked off, Juliana simply laughed it off: "Hahaha. So now I'm getting married to judge Ian!!!!! Ha abanauganda u can yap!!!" Judge Ian who is married simply wrote: "She is worth a lot more!! will comply:-)"
This did not seem to help out forcing her to dash to facebook and issue this disclaimer:
"Hey friends, I've seen some disturbing rumours on Facebook and would like to categorically say, I'm NOT planning any wedding with judge Ian. I've also never had any romantic relationship with him and have no intentions to do so. Ian is someone I've worked with on TPF and that's it. I have a lot of respect for him as a person, fellow judge and family man. These rumours are misrepresenting and unfair."
The singer who celebrated her 31st birthday last November and city businessman, Amon Lukwago, were once the most admired and talked about couple in town before they split. They have an eleven-year-old son.
She later dated USA based Ugandan boxer, Kassim Ouma who led to the change of her name from Juliana to Jalia Kanyomozi but wapi, things didn't work out.
Juliana was also linked to Peter Miles but the 'Blessings' star simply said; they have been close friends for a while but nothing serious. Juliana now says she is not yet ready for marriage and whoever has a problem with it...'Tebankooya', meaning they should not bother me.

"Thank you WARID TELECOM for the WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE AWARD in entertainment. I'm humbled to have been nominated with such strong, ambitious Ugandan women. I look up to so many of you. I dedicate this award to my mother. You are my inspiration."
Those were the words of multi-award winning artiste Juliana Kanyomozi on getting her latest Woman of Substance Award from telecommunication company, WARID Telecom. The awarding ceremony was held at Serena Hotel on Wednesday night. Last year, Judith Babirye took this particular award.
The awards were recognising women who have excelled in several areas of life that included among others internationally active women like Winnie Byanyima and Noeline Kareeba, the brain behind TASO and the HIV fight in Uganda. The awards were part of the celebrations to mark the International Women's Day.

Barbara Itungo Kyagulanyi aka Barbie - has Bobi Wine's portrait inked on her back followed by the word forever. This is another way of saying; I will love you forever and ever. A few months back, there were rumours doing the rounds that the couple was on the verge of breaking up but Barbie came up and said what she uttered 12 years back that she is here to stay.
Bad Black - Then came Bad Black who was better referred to as Mad Black by the way she used to spend before her source of dime came to the lime light. Bad Black was in love with Meddie and felt that the best way to prove her love was to ink her body with Meddie's name.
Bad Black dashed to a fake tattoist who simply used a marker to come up with a fake tattoo and got quite an amount. Shanita later identified an authentic source that inked Meddie's name on her back. Meddie is still in jail though and Bad Black is a fugitive suspected to be in Malaysia. It's not clear if that huge tattoo on her back still exists as the two fell out badly.

Others with tattoos include:
Juliana Kanyomozi on her arm with name inscriptions of her dad, Gerald and her son Keron. In her latest profile on NTV, you can see Maurice Ochol caressing it in admiration.
Zari's Tattoo - Is a combination of 10 stars and initials of her three sons PDQ - Pinto, Didy and Quincy plus one of a coloured flower on her legs. Other tattoos on her body, Isaac Lugudde might be of help here.
Isaac Lugudde - The Big Brother hopeful has so many tattoos on his body that there's hardly any space left though he says, should he go to the Big Brother House, he will add more tattoos to do with Big Brother Africa.
A few months back when Lugudde was still dating Zari, he put 'The Boss Lady' tattoo on his ribs followed by a verse from the bible Gen 2:18 which says that: "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him." but the two have since split and moved on with Zari bouncing back to the father of her three kids as Lugudde hooked up with a one Cynthia.

The 12th version of the Kora Awards were held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast on Dec 30, 2012.
Nigeria's P-Square, US rapper Chris Brown and his girl friend Rihanna attended though according to media reports, the event that was slated to take place on December 29 was postponed to the next day after Chris Brown missed his flight.
The awards dubbed 'African Grammy Awards' saw Uganda's Juliana Kanyomozi winning in the category of 'Best Female Artist from Eastern Africa'. Juliana beat the likes of Marya from Kenya, Helen Berhe and Asther Aweke from Ethiopia, Saida Karoli of the Wachekekya fame and Ikraan Caraale from Somalia.
The award of Best Male Artist from Eastern Africa went to Jean Pierre Nimbona aka Kidum from Burundi with his song 'Mulika Mwizi' featuring Sana.
Juliana expressed her gratitude and thanks through her wall: "Sometimes I run out of words to express my happiness and gratitude. I won the Kora for the best Female Artist East Africa. Thank you Kora for the recognition. Thank you all my loving fans from the bottom of my heart for always lifting me up. My heavenly father, you have blessed me beyond, how can I ever pay you back? You are indeed faithful."
'I am Ugandan' is the song that led Juliana to win the Kora award and she did not leave out the team she worked with on the I am Ugandan project that included the Tusker Project Fame 2 winner, Esther Nabaasa, Steve Jean, Kaweesa, Michael Fingers and Onoh.
Meanwhile, Kidum did Haturudi Nyuma featuring Juliana but going by the track, the sky is the limit for our stars.

Happy Birthday, Juliana! With a prolific music career that began in the 2000's with her then I-Jay group with Iryn Namubiru, the multi-award winning singer has cloaked 31 and she still looks curvy, beautiful and young.
This year has been a good one for the mother of one and the Pearl of Africa Music (PAM) Awards Artiste (2008) at least compared to the past years when she could complete a full year without releasing a single hit.
From winning the BEFFTA (UK) Award, releasing her latest single 'Ndibulungi', featuring on the Tusker Project Fame music Academy as a judge and now her collaboration with Ghanaian-American sensation star, Jay Ghartey dubbed 'Love You Better' is tipped to top charts in 2013 at least from the DJ's and journalists who have had the opportunity to listen to the song.
"She has a voice that is rare to find anywhere; she's also a classy young lady and it's easy to see why her people love her so much. I am honoured to work with such talent," Jay Ghartey said while giving his views on Juliana in Accra.
Responding to the birthday messages on her wall, Juliana wrote: "Thank you all for showering me with so much love. You've touched my heart deeply. Now I know just how much you guys think of me. I surely felt the love from each one of you. May God bless you all abundantly."

Juliana Follows Her Passion While Singing
Desire Luzinda Outs Track with Ghana's D-Black
Zari Hassan Marks 32 Years
Saturday, November 24 2012

Juliana's passion for singing comes from deep within her soul mind and heart and she is not in it for money so if you ever wondered why she is not quick at launching every now and then or even releasing hits every week, then you now have the answer.
The multi award winning artiste was watching local telly when they all over sudden played three of her songs she used to sing way back in the early 2000's when she used to mime songs like 'From a Distance', Brandy's version of 'Everything I do' bringing back the memories.
"All I wanted was to sing and it didn't matter that I wasn't being paid. Up to now I still have the same passion for singing. Its not so much about the money, music is food to my soul. It uplifts me even when I'm down.
Now if you are doing music either as a profession or as a pass time, the above lines from the Tusker Project Fame judge and the 'Ndibulungi' singer should be words of inspiration.
She put music first and money last and that is what has kept her going all these years.

The 2008 PAM Awards artiste of the year Juliana Kanyomozi has yet again added another award onto her long list of awards with the latest being Best International Afrobeat Act of the Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Art (BEFFTA), 2012.
The fourth annual version of the awards was held on Saturday the 27-Oct-2012 at The Hippodrome, North End Road, Golders Green in London. The guests were smartly dressed in their black tuxedos, black suits with the ladies maintaining the evening gowns making the ceremony glamorous.
Juliana went ahead to celebrate her joy on her wall thus: "Hey family, we won the BEFFTA award yessss!. Thank you for all the support u showed thru your votes. I couldn't have done it without you. Uganda, East Africa, You did it.."
The 'Iam Ugandan' star acknowledged that the competition was tight but that did not stop her from beating home boy Jose Chameleone and other big name artistes like Fally Ipupa, Nameless and D Banj among others

The 'Nina Omwami' and 'Doze' Star Desire Luzinda had no kind words for a one Krest Lear from Tanzania who made allegations of Desire speaking ill of Juliana at a certain radio station in Tanzania.
Krest Lear made a posting on Desire's wall that: "U spoke all the nonsense about Juliana Kanyomozi...Beta fcuk off with Juliana. Jst kno ya a loser. We gotten everything u said when u went to Tanzania, bt plz Juliana can never copy ya styl!"
Now this did not go down well with the curvy singer who made this post in response to the allegations: "Someone by the name Krest Lear whatever that means, you're trying hard to create a rumour n some sort of beef about me and Juliana but am not a musician for beef n I haven't stepped foot in TZ, so find your level...."
The motive behind this is not clear though closely associated with drumming up support for a certain radio station in Tanzania. One of Desire's fans was over heard asking how one could appear on a radio station in a country they have never stepped foot?
Unless when Krest Lear made the allegations on hearing a voice that seemed like our star, Desire Luzinda. Desire and Juliana get along and were recently in Philadelphia, US during the UNAA 2012 Convention.

The official list of nominations for the Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Art (BEFFTA) is out with our very own diva Juliana Kanyomozi and music heavy weight Jose Chameleone being nominated in the category of Best International Afrobeat Act.
The Ugandan stars will be tussling it out with other nominees in the same category who include big name artistes like Fally Ipupa from Congo, Kenya's Nameless, rapper Sarkodie from Ghana and Nigerian singer DBanj.
Other nominees in the Best International Afrobeat Act include: Wizkid, Wande Coal, Zahara, Inyanya, Ice Prince, Nonini and Itz Tiffany. The 'Omutima Guluma' star was quick at saying that:
"Tough competition but I'm so honored to be even named among these great artistes that I admire so much." Juliana is already a brand in East Africa which can be seen from her role as a Tusker Project Fame Judge, she has now launched an attack on Africa.

The Sanyu Lyange star Juliana Kanyomozi was on Saturday morning cleaning at Mulago hospital after being chosen as the chief cleaner for the month by the Kampala City Yange team.
Juliana said: "We did some cleaning today. A big thank you for everyone who turned up for this exercise. Was lovely meeting you all especially the patients, doctors and nurses. The experience is unforgettable."
Patients were excited on seeing their star reaching out to them and ensuring that they are in a clean environment. The worst was when she was done with the cleaning, she decided to check on the patients.
Juliana met this patient who was lying on the floor with her baby and yet just where they were sleeping, was a stain of blood but trust the chief cleaner of the month, the place was sparkling minutes later.
Juliana added: "Saying Hello to the Cute Little Baby. One of the problems the doctors face is lack of space. The hospital has become too small for the number of patients who pour in everyday and as a result they are overwhelmed."
Other artistes like Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine were also cleaning in Bukoto and Kamwokya respectively..

Star singer Juliana Kanyomozi has for quite sometime been linked to the Road Block studio boss Peter Miles Kanyike but she recently came out to clear the space and told whoever cared to know that she was not dating Peter Miles.
Peter Miles is very close to former Obsession member Cleopatra Koheirwe. The two have been spotted on several occasions hanging out at parties and doing shopping together.
In a twist of events, Juliana has gone ahead to invite Cleo for a cup of coffee clearly confirming that the two actually get along and there is no rift between them. Peter Miles was once interviewed in one of the local dailies and he revealed how he has known both gals for the last 15 years and they are his best female friends.
Peter Miles and Juliana have a collabo together dubbed 'Oja'. Cleopatra on the other hand is more into acting plus her day job at the Bugolobi based Radiocity.

The eviction of Allan Sekiranda has left his sister a one ragamuffin gyal Margla sad and blue after hopes of taking her music to another level were dealt with a blow.
Margla had hoped that Allan Sekiranda would be the third Ugandan to win the Tusker Project Fame top prize of Kshs5mn but after being on probation for several times, Allan's time was up in the academy and he had to pack his bags for Kampala aboard Air Uganda.
Allan performed 'No-EASY' by P-Square and at the end of his performance, the host of the show clearly told him that it's not easy to win Kshs5mn. Whatever that meant, your guess is as good as mine.
When it came to the judges, Hermes told him that it was better than last week. Juliana was assertive and told him that his performance was not that good. To make matters worse, even Sharon, the only Ugandan left in the academy did not save him but instead saved Jackson saying that he had the best performance.
Margla has now taken to the social network and is busy throwing all sorts of insults to the Omutima Guluma star Juliana Kanyomozi who is currently in Kenya for tonight's show of the Tusker Project Fame.
Reactions to Margla's verbal rant:
Bagonza Birungi says: "Juliana calls a spoon a spoon, your bro wasn't good enough."
Precious Kay:"I like Allan but his vocals were lacking compared to other contestants. What Sharon did was wrong but then again don't hate the player, hate the game. Juliana will always be our songbird hate it or love it. What do you know about vocals Margla??"

The Omutima Oguluma star and also TPF season 5 judge Juliana Kanyomozi has come out clear on her relationship with Road Block President Peter Miles.
"I have said a billion times that my friend Peter and I are not in a relationship and have never been. But I keep wondering, why do people have so much hate?"
This followed reports that the two were planning a secret wedding in Kenya. Peter Miles and Cleo are very close to the extent that Miles was on the spot to explain the developments.
Some of her fans were comparing her to Iryn. One Mudix commented: "But what did you expect people to say? get real Juli, they no longer talk about your competitor Iryn coz they know she got a man. Do that also."

The names parents were giving to their children 30 to 40 years back were very simple names like Robert for Bobi Wine, Joseph for Chameleone and Moses for Bebe Cool. Very interesting indeed and had they left them that way, chances are some could be unheard of.
Children of this generation are not gettingnames like it was back then. Below we take you through the names some od our stars have given their children.
Bebe Cool - Zuena welcomed a bouncing baby boy three days back who happens to be their third child with Bebe Cool. These ones have decided to go about it the alphabet way. Alpha is the first born followed by their only girl Beata and now another boy Caysan.
Jose Chameleone - Exactly three months back Daniella gave birth to their third child who they named Alba Shyne Mayanja. Their first born is Abba Marcus Mayanja. Now looks like this one has gone for names starting with 'A'
Bobi Wine - Now the Omubanda wa Kabaka's is out of the box. He named his kids after cities. His first born is Kampala, and the second one is Nairobi. Their latest was given the Shilling name may after running out of cities that they could embrace.
Juliana Kanyomozi - For the lady musicians it has been nice and polite. Juliana's son with her ex is called Keron Lukwago.
Cindy - The former Blu3 member had 3 items on her agenda last year and one was to give birth, launch an album and have Mario put a ring on her finger. She achieved the first two and now fingers crossed for the wedding. Cindy named her first born Amani. Just next door in Kenya, we have a Kenyan artiste who goes by that name and when she hits stage, all the front row guests are treated to a 'VIP' show of sorts.
Lillian - The former Blu3 member has a child with Goodlyfe member Moze Radio and was given Asanti as the name which is a Swahili word meaning Thank You.

The shelf life of celebrity relationships has been so short lived that many don't even celebrate their first anniversary because by then, they are already in a totally different world compared to what they were 12 months back.
It is from this that some will borrow a leaf from stars like Bobi Wine and Jose Chameleone who are married to very simple ladies and even the likes of Ivan and Zari had to take eleven years before their introduction last year.
Below we look at stars whose relationships have failed.
Straka and Sizzaman - These two have a child together and even got to the level of a wedding reception that aborted at the eleventh hour when Sizzaman failed to show up. Straka was admitted at Senta Medicare in Namasuba following the incident.
Meddie and Bad Black - Now these ones were unique in every way. No doubt it was money that brought them together but looks like it was a one sided affair. Bad Black kept on crying her heart out out on social networks, abused any gal who came close to Meddie but wapi the guy was adamant.
She even tried putting a tattoo of Meddie's name on her back, went to jail trying to cover up for him in the Shs11bn loot but all this did not work. Realizing that all had failed, she just had to put the guy in and the only time we saw them in a photo together was when they were at the Anti -Corruption court.
Moze Radio and Lillian - These became publicly intimate during the Bududa fund raising show and one thing led to another and before we knew it, Lillian was pregnant with Moze's kid. Lillian moved into the Goodlyfe's Makindye Neverland home. In the home, Goodlyfe's Zungu babe, Kellen was also living there. The two have separated under very unclear circumstances.
Juliana and Kassim Ouma - Juliana was over the moon over Kassim Ouma 'The Dream.' Juliana changed her name to Jalia and converted her religion to accomodate the boxer but wapi, this did not work too.
*OS and Pherrie Kim - The 'love yo' star Omulangira Ssuna and Pherrie Kim have a boy together but after several cheating accusations, they decided to call it quits with the PRO of Guvnor Pherie Kim who seems to have a thing with names starting with O. She is now dating another guy whose name starts with O.

Juliana and Iryn were once a group over ten years back but have been living worlds apart since then but if what transpired at the Kiwatule Recreational Grounds on Easter Monday is anything to go by, then its just a matter of time before the fans can get to listen to the best female vocals in the industry doing songs together.
Juliana was one of the artistes who performed during the Bebe Cool's East African Carnival and when she was done with her performance, she demanded the DJ to turn the volume down as she had something to say.
"Colleagues, we've opened a new chapter with none other than Iryn Namubiru who I refer to as my sister.." Juliana said. This led to a loud scream of excitement from the revellers over the development.
Iryn who traveled to France after the Easter shows to check on her hubby and kids affirmed to those who were doubting and thinking that this is another celeb stunt in the offing had this to say:
"How genuine do you want people to be? haven't you all been looking forward to this? I mean Juliana and I. What you saw is it. Yes the beautiful song is in the pipeline.."
It's not clear if the duo will do one track or tracks but at least for now, they are in studio recording a beautiful song as Iryn said. This comes after another gal group Blu3(Cindy and Jackie) got together and traveled to Amsterdam for Easter shows.

Nince Henry is a song writer who turned into a musician something that has now left him clashing with artistes as opposed to releasing hits under his newly acquired role. It all started by Juliana going to Nince Henry to penn a song for her.
Two songs, 'Sikyakaba' and 'Kanelage' were written by Nince Henry. Sikyakaba was produced by Paddyman and on listening to it, it was sounding more like Samalie Matovu's Omukwano Gunyuma.
Nince called Juliana and her producer and they agreed not to release the song and that Nince retains the song as his property. "I agreed with them that the song that we had done with Paddy should never be released" Nince said while speaking to one of the Kampala Tabloids.
Nince was not paid for that song though Juliana and the manager promised to compensate him through another song that he would write for Juliana. Nince went ahead and released his own version of 'Sikyakaba'
Nince was being blamed for the controversy and this is what he had to say; "I wrote that song and Juliana wanted it. After recording it, I discovered she didn't like it anymore. Since I had not been paid, I took my song and did it my self after agreeing that what she had recorded must not be released,"
Responding to this developing story, Juliana wrote on her wall; "I have been doing my music quietly n peacefully for a long time and will continue to do so, but obviously some people wont leave me alone in peace. They have tried very many times to involve me in their scandals n see if they can get the best of me but they have not succeeded.
All i want to do is sing for my fans that's all, fighting is jus not me. I'm not one of those people who need the 'GET FAMOUS QUICK' scheme to get to the top, God has blessed me with enough."

The Kenyan based artiste is all smiles after her debut collabo with Uganda's Juliana Kanyomozi is becoming an instant hit. In Kenya, it is ranking as the most popular video and equally doing well on Uganda TV stations.
The message to Juliana summed it up all; "Juliana..nobody could have done this better...tuko juu tu sana!!!" 'Mpita Njia' meaning 'passing by the road' is one of the tracks on Alicios album that is yet to be released.
The album has other artistes like Kidum from Burundi and other Kenyan artistes. Meanwhile, she has written all her songs including Mpita Njia. Born 25 years back, Alicios real name Alice Niyonsaba was born in Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Mpita Njia video which was shot from Uganda will give diva Juliana a boost in her music career in the East African region.

Uganda has witnessed many tycoons who come on the social scene with their flashy lifestlyes only to disappear off the radar. The same report looks at artistes who were hot back in the days but are now falling short.
Faded Tycoons:
Mike Ezra - He was good at financing sports activities through his Ezra Track Team Board, spent Shs60m on the Uganda Cranes to send them to Niger for an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. In 2004, Mike Ezra through his ETTB made a £60m bid to buy the English Premiership club Leeds United, but the bid was rejected by the club.
The last time he made an appearance in Uganda was when he was displaying dollars at Emin Pasha Hotel to disprove those who thought that he was broke. The last of him was when he waws arrested in Kenya for issuing a bounching cheque.
Meddie Ssentogo - He was popularly known as Young Money with a fleet of posh vehicles ranging from a Tundra, Range Rover Sport and all the vehicles had his name 'Meddie' as number plates, donated a BMW to Jose Chameleone but the Meddie of today, has now sold off almost everything including his house in Munyonyo to pay off debts.
Bad Black used to give him all that money before David Greenhalgh came in to block the taps and now for fear of attaching his property, he has sold off everything. He now cruises a range rover sport in UAQ series.
Artistes:
Desire Luzinda - Her curves and body shape did a lot in boosting her music career. She released some good music like 'Nyumirwanyo', then did a collabo with the Ngoni's. Right now she continues to release tracks but not hits.
Juliana Kanyomozi - Have you listened to her style of music lately? It's totally different from the Juliana back then who you could not dare compare to any artiste. Its not clear if she is trying to follow the crowds but you could appreciate her music the moment your ears could interact with it, now it takes time before one appreciates it.
They were a team with Iryn, split and went solo but she was still better than Iryn, right now, looks like Iryn is at the top of the game when you compare the two may be because Juliana takes long breaks and yet Iryn is constantly releasing track after track.
Ragga Dee - The Digida star also known as the Grand Pa of Ugandan Music had resorted to performing in bars a move that was for the upcoming artistes and not the 'big sizes' like him. His last album launch was a flop at Kati Kati last year.
Phina Mugerwa - Used to do well especially with her waist dance which earned her the 'Shakira' title but from the time she became a mother it has been a bit tight for her though she continues to release tracks but not hits.

Juliana featured in the Kiwani Movie which premiered way back in 2008 and now her young sister Laura Kahunde has taken to movies with a big role in Mariam Ndagire's latest movie 'Dear Mum'
In the movie, Laura is referred to as Monica who does the writing of poems for her mum who is a musician and the mum is none other than retired musician Mariam Ndagire also the brain behind the movie.
"This time around, I have touched where it hurts most. Many people see celebrities but they don't know what they go through. But we are also minding about social and economic issues in the nation. So expect something to make you smile all through," Ndagire said.
The movie will premier on January 27, 2012 at National Theatre. Mariam Ndagire retired from stage acting and active music to concentrate on film making with Dear Mum being the fifth after Strength of a Stranger, Down This Road I Walk, Where We Belong, Hearts in Pieces, and two seasons of Tendo Sisters which has taken Africa Magic fans by storm.

PAM Awards Artiste of the year 2008 Juliana Kanyomozi was shocked by the kind of applause Bad Black received when she was released from prison. She was in utter shock with the kind of people Ugandans choose to idolize.
Writing on her wall Juliana said; "It beats my understanding the kind of people Ugandans choose to idolize sometimes. It says a lot about our society. Something's terribly wrong." The 'Sanyu Lyange' star was wondering why Ugandans were idolizing those with money as opposed to heroes, innovators and super stars among others.
Juliana adds "I don't know if I shud call it ignorance or just stupidity at it's best but the thing is we have a lot of great people around us to look up to and be inspired to become better people but no, people wud rather idolize stupid people with absolutely no class."
Looking at how events have been unfolding, it is no surprise that Juliana was referring to Bad Black. The United Kingdom Daily Mail tabloid covered the story forcing New Vision and NTV to intensify the coverage of Bad Black.
Juliana's observation has a bearing on a one Hajji and Nasser Ssebagala. In 2008, one Hajji Suudi Nsereko stole a bag in Mecca and was held for three months before being deported to Uganda. On arrival at Entebbe airport, he was praised. The former Mayor of Kampala Nasser Ntege Ssebagala was even risking for a presidential bid after gaining a lot of fame from his bicupuuli US saga.

Last Saturday all roads led to UMA show grounds which was the venue for the 9th PAM Awards. The function kicked off at about 6:00pm and ended a few minutes past 1:00am on Sunday. Gold tickets were going for Shs 200,000 bronze tickets Shs120,000 and the bona balabe or regular was going for Shs 30,000.
At the end of the event Iryn Namubiru emerged as the PAM Awards Artiste of the year 2011. Bebe Cool was one of the top artistes who graced the event but we now bring you some of the top artistes who snubbed the event.
Jose Chameleone - Nominated in three categories but only got Best Afro Beat/Artiste Group but did not bother attending like he has done for the last so many years. That has not stopped him from releasing non stop hits. The other award he also got was the one that Bebe Cool dedicated to Jose, Bobi Wine and the Goodlyfe boys for having snubbed the function.
Moze Radio and Weasel - They took the award of the Best Afro Beat courtesy of their Talk n Talk song. After minutes of waiting and confirming that they were not around, Straka swung into action by saying "Wabula Agayaaye ago tegawoneka" meaning that not even an award would convince them to attend. They however attended last year and during the final PAM Awards bash they were present.
Peter Miles - The Oja star also self proclaimed king of dance hall did not show up despite being nominated in the category of Best Ragga Artiste.
Desire Luzinda - Curvy Desire Luzinda was not any where close to the PAM Awards venue. It's like the second tie in a row when she is not being nominated in any category
Juliana - It is not clear what happened to the PAM Awards 2008 artiste of the year and the first female artiste to kiss the main accolade. During the bash that launched the PAM Awards at Club Le Beaujolais, Juliana attended the function sending a clear message that she was on the same page with the organizers but wappi, she was nowhere to be seen. She is in the country because a few days back she was performing with Kenny Lattimore at the Qatar Airways Launch.
Bobi Wine - The last time he sent his wife as he claimed that he was performing at a different function, but from the time Barbie graced the event and came back empty handed even after the husband had been nominated in several categories, the two have vowed never to come close to the awards. This is what happened on Nov.5.2011 as Bobi and Barbie were nowhere to be seen. Bobi Wine's ?Matyansi Butyampa's video lost to ex Blu3's Jackie Chandiru's 'Agassi'

The list of nominees for the Museke Online Africa Music Awards (MOAMA) is out. Maurice Kirya and Juliana Kanyomozi top the list of Ugandan nominees with more than two nominations each.
If the nominations in which Maurice Kirya is listed in are anything to go by, then the 'Musubawa' star will come out of this bigger than he was. Maurice has been nominated for Artiste of the Year, Male Artiste of the Year, 'I will Sing' by Maurice for Song of the Year.
Juliana's 'Haturudi' is nominated in the East African Category, and also in the RnB/Soul. Juliana is also a nominee for the female artiste where she will be tussling it out with the likes of Angelique Kidjo from Benin among others.
The MOAMA nominations has still got more Ugandans ranging from Goodlyfe for Group of the year. Bebe Cool's Kasepiki and Goodlyfe's Vuvuzela are nominations in the Dance Hall song category. Rachel K's 'Feel Me' has won her a slot on the Voter's Choice category.
This year's MOAMA Awards will be held on the 24th September 2011 in New York.

The 2008 PAM Artist winner - Juliana Kanyomozi has bounced back after a 2 years break with a single dedicated to lovers dubbed 'Kantambule Nawe' The singer was appearing on the Saturday night XXL show hosted by DJ Bush Baby on NTV.
She was looking more beautiful than ever before and also took this chance to clear the space on the Cleo, Peter Miles and Juliana love triangle. The singer said that when she first saw the news item she thought it was a joke but when they ran it persistently, she had to come up and clear the space.
Juliana says that the three studied in Bugema and that is why they are friends. Peter Miles being in Music and Juliana a musician makes them more close to the extent that whoever sees them thinks they are dating. So on this she categorically said No she is not dating Peter Miles.
Juliana wants to be remembered as a person who inspires people and not just entertaining them. The one thing that makes her cry is the memory of her dad who she still loves to this date long after he passed on. She also wondered why people had to comment on her weight and not her music. At one time they say I'm big and begged not to use the word fat because it was rude and then they say I'm small... what is the right size? Juliana charged.

The Pearl of Africa Music Awards have started showing signs of a come back starting with the launch in Burundi on Saturday. The Awards which were last held in 2008 did not take place in 2009 due to a number of factors that included taking the organizers to court and threatening to close the company permanently.
They later agreed to some terms with some of the shareholders being compensated and now we are yet to have the 2009 version of the awards in 2010. Juliana Kanyomozi was the Artiste of the year. She also took the award for best female artiste while Bebe Cool took Best Male Artiste. The full list of other winners can be viewed from here: PAM Awards 2008 Winners
In the 2008 Awards, The Goodlyfe Boyz were the best New Artiste and had the 2009 versions taken place in 2009 where they had hit after hit, they could have taken most of the slots that were available in their categories.
They still appear to be unsolvable after redoing Chance Nalubega's 'Abatesi'

Hotel Africana was on fire last Friday as Mowzey Radio and Weasel were launching their second album. It is on record that Radio and Weasel were originally back up artistes for Dr.Jose Chameleone and they later seceded to form Good lyf.
They played Jose Chameleone's song BaYuda which sent the crowd into shouting gear rocking that part of Kampala with noise pollution. Ba Yuda is the song Jose released aiming at the duo who had deserted him after all that he had done for them. The boys acknowledge that he was their mentor and in so doing they played the song back trying to show that they do not have a problem with him at all and they are just doing their thing.
Of course Jose Chameleone did not attend but both parents were there now that Weasel is Chameleone's young brother and when the mother stood up to talk she said" Im so happy because my children are doing well but at the same time sad that Jose Chameleone is not here''. The crowd retaliated by asking her to use her powers as a mother to unite the brothers.
Other artistes that performed were Blu3, GNL, Juliana among others.

Iryn and Juliana
In the past it was I-Jay way back in the year 2000 and they were the in thing as far as music was concerned then in Uganda. Juliana and Irene used to sing together and tracks like ''Seven days'' and ''Say yes'' among others can be tagged to the duo. Todate some people still wish the two could come back together but that is just not about to happen as they have both pursued solo careers with Irene changing her stage name to Iryn and Juliana maintaining the name but moving way past Iryn. She is the current PAM Awards artist of the year.
General Mega Dee and Menton Kronno
They were a pair back in the days but there is more Mega Dee these days than Kronno. He tried a collaboration with Jinja based Sylivia Kyansunti but all in all nothing has been released from Kronno. Just recently Mega Dee brought in Mr. Vegas for his album launch.
Blu*3, Blu3 and Cindy
They emerged as stars after the coca cola auditions that brought them to stardom. There stage name actually had a star which they later removed to just remain Blu3. Like any girl group, these girls had a fight after it turned out that one of them was going on holiday with a boyfriend at the time they were to stage various shows. They told her to choose between the group and the boyfriend and Cindy chose the latter. Mya replaced Cindy and a track dubbed "Together" has been released by the new Blu3. The girls have not released much in the nutshell but Cindy on the other hand is doing very well as she has released an album with smashing hits like Mbikooye.
Obsessions and HB Toxic
HB Toxic were part of the Obsessions group that comprised of about 5 girls at least based on the Jangu video. Tracks like ''I'll do'', Jangu and Feel me are part of the results when the group was still together. Helen and Brenda noticed with that kind of set up they were not getting the attention they desired, they decided to break off the from the main group and formed HB Toxic. The girls have been busy and in just the last week they have performed in various places like the Lug Fashion nite at Club Silk, and the launch of the EATV Uganda central at club rouge. HB Toxic have also done a collabo, "All I Need" with Tanzania's AY.
Moze Radio and Weasle TV
These guys were part of Jose Chameleon acting as back up vocalists. Moze in particular was having some tracks like "Sweet Lady" which was a hit on our music hit list back in the days. They recently teamed to come up with Moze Radio and Weasle Manizle. But the Manizle name must have been dropped to adopt TV to match the Radio on Moze's name. If you have heard Nakudata, Nakutamani, Zuena, Nyambura plus Chikumi Kinana(180) among others that they did with Red Banton and you were wondering who the bad boys are then wonder no more. They have by far been 2008 best artists.
