Abitex Steps In to Secure Payments for Bloggers Owed by Bebe Cool

Events promoter Andrew Mukasa, widely known as Abitex, has announced his intention to mediate in a payment dispute between several bloggers and musician Moses Ssali, also known as Bebe Cool. The bloggers allege that they were not compensated for their work during Bebe Cool’s recent presidential campaign activities.

Abitex has publicly stated his commitment to resolving the issue, assuring the affected bloggers that he will personally follow up on their unpaid dues. “I am taking responsibility going forward, and am taking over to ensure bloggers who worked with Bebe Cool during campaigns are paid,” Abitex declared to local media.

He expressed his determination to seek out all relevant parties to facilitate the payments. “I will move to every office to ensure they are paid. I will go up to anyone and ensure the Government pays them if Bebe Cool failed,” he added, highlighting his willingness to escalate the matter if necessary.

The promoter indicated that he is prepared to engage with government offices and other authorities to find a resolution for the bloggers. This intervention by Abitex introduces a new dynamic to the ongoing controversy, with the bloggers now pinning their hopes on his involvement to secure their outstanding payments.
