In the Masters and Corporate category, Jinja-based lawyer Silas Wasswa Peace also successfully defended his championship, overcoming Kevin Kaboha in a 3-2 victory. Wasswa expressed his determination to clinch a third consecutive title.

Organizers Genesis Pool Club, in partnership with the Pool Association of Uganda (PAU), emphasized their commitment to developing pool from the grassroots, aiming to foster a positive image for the sport beyond its traditional association with bars. Buganda Kingdom representatives were present, expressing support for creating safer environments for young players.

Kampala University also participated by offering two bursaries to eligible participants, further encouraging the young talents. The event featured multiple categories, including women’s events, corporate shooters, and a Masters division for players aged 40 and above.
