Vinka Acknowledges Kyazze's 'Greatest Investment' Praise Amidst Pressure

Singer Veronica Luggya, popularly known as Vinka, has shared her thoughts on Swangz Avenue co-founder Julius Kyazze’s recent declaration that she represents his most significant career investment.

Vinka expressed that while she understands the context behind Kyazze’s statement, it also brings a considerable amount of pressure.

“For me that is a bit scary. I felt as if someone had put a huge load on me, plus the pressure,” Vinka commented, reflecting on her journey with the label since 2017. She noted that those who have followed her career from its inception would grasp the sentiment.

She explained that her fellow artists at Swangz Avenue, such as Winnie Nwagi, would likely understand Kyazze’s perspective better. “I know artists like Winnie Nwagi wouldn’t take it personally because they know my journey from an artist manager. For the business that you took a bet on and people eventually going for it, the brand is now big and Vinka is a huge household name, then it makes sense,” Vinka elaborated.

The “Love Panic” singer admitted that the praise, while appreciated, has heightened her performance anxiety. “Usually when I am on stage, I am very nervous when there is Benon and Julius. I am scared of making any mistakes,” she confessed.

Kyazze’s comments have since ignited conversations among music enthusiasts regarding Vinka’s impressive career trajectory under Swangz Avenue and her overall impact on the record label. This recognition highlights the significant role Vinka has played in the company’s success over the years.
