President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni convened a meeting with a visiting delegation from Tanzania at State House, Entebbe, on Monday, August 24, 2026.
The Tanzanian group was headed by Mr. Abdulhalim Hafidh Ameir, who is the son of Tanzania’s President, Samia Suluhu Hassan. Other members present included Mr. George Nkya, Mr. Amal Garang, and Mr. Mundhir Mohammed Nassor.
The primary focus of the discussions was to explore avenues for strengthening the existing bilateral relations between Uganda and Tanzania. Both sides deliberated on various areas of cooperation designed to foster regional development and mutual benefit.
