Google Executive Equips Victoria University Staff with AI Skills

Victoria University has taken a proactive step in embracing artificial intelligence by conducting a comprehensive training session for its staff. The workshop, aimed at enhancing capabilities in teaching, research, and administrative tasks, was led by Tim Abel, a notable technology executive with a background at major tech firms like Dell, Microsoft, and Google.

The training provided practical insights into how AI can be leveraged for curriculum development, generating case studies, supporting academic research endeavors, and automating routine administrative processes. Abel demonstrated tools that can streamline institutional workflows, improve information processing, and optimize functions such as scheduling.
