Social commentator Frank Gashumba has publicly stated that Chris Obore, the former Director of Communications for Parliament, should not be released from Luzira Prison. Gashumba articulated his firm stance, asserting that Obore does not deserve any leniency or bail.

Gashumba went further to appeal to General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, urging him to intervene and ensure Obore remains in custody even if bail is granted. “General Muhoozi, keep Obore in the basement if he ever gets bail,” he added.
