While admitting the recent performance did not go as planned, Cissé emphasized that the path to the World Cup is long and opportunities still exist. He highlighted the team’s resilience and determination to overcome the current hurdles.

“We acknowledge the difficulties we faced, but this is not the end of our journey,” Cissé stated. “We will learn from this experience, regroup, and come back stronger.”

The coach stressed the importance of unity and focus as the team prepares for upcoming fixtures. He believes that with continued hard work and a collective effort, Senegal can still achieve their World Cup goals.

“Our players have the quality and the hunger to succeed. We are committed to giving our all in every match to make our nation proud,” he added. The team is expected to analyze their performance meticulously and implement necessary adjustments to improve their standing in the qualifiers.

The focus now shifts to future games, where Senegal aims to secure the points needed to advance. The coach’s message is one of hope and perseverance, aiming to rally both players and supporters for the challenges ahead.
