Balaam Commends Museveni and UIA for Job Growth at Sino-Mbale Park

The Minister for Local Government, Hon. Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi, has expressed strong appreciation for the efforts of President Yoweri Museveni and the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) in stimulating job creation. His praise specifically targets the significant progress observed at the Sino-Mbale Industrial Park.

Hon. Barugahara highlighted that the park is becoming a major hub for economic activity, directly contributing to employment opportunities for Ugandans. He attributed this success to the government’s commitment, under President Museveni’s leadership, to attracting foreign direct investment and fostering a conducive environment for businesses to thrive.

The Uganda Investment Authority has been instrumental in facilitating the establishment and operationalization of industrial parks across the country, including Sino-Mbale. These parks are designed to consolidate industries, improve infrastructure, and streamline investment processes, thereby enhancing Uganda’s competitiveness on the global stage.

Minister Barugahara emphasized that the development at Sino-Mbale is a clear testament to the effectiveness of current government policies aimed at industrialization and job creation.
