Devastating scenes unfolded at King David Junior School on Friday as anguished parents gathered, desperately seeking information about their children after a tragic road crash in Kapchorwa. The accident occurred Thursday evening, involving a bus carrying pupils from Primary Three to Seven back from an educational tour in eastern Uganda.

By Friday morning, scores of anxious parents had converged on the school grounds, many having endured a sleepless night without any official updates. “We don’t know what’s happening with our children. No one is giving us information and we are not sure whether our children are dead or alive,” stated one distraught parent, mirroring the widespread uncertainty and fear.
