Recent footage provides a rare glimpse of outgoing Parliament Speaker Anita Among’s expansive residence in Kigo, where security forces are conducting investigations. The property is said to feature multiple basement levels, including one for parking and a lower basement equipped with a gym, sauna, and cinema.
Within the main house, a first-floor reception area with a red carpet leads to what sources identify as the Speaker’s office. Access to a third-floor section is reportedly restricted to Ms. Among herself. An internal lift system is also a feature of the residence.
Adjacent to the main compound, a newly developed area is being prepared for landscaping. It has also been suggested that a Rolls-Royce associated with the politician is on the property, though this remains unconfirmed.
This look inside the neighborhood comes as the politician’s public and political life faces significant scrutiny.
