The ongoing Ebola epidemic in the Democratic Republic of Congo has officially become the second deadliest in recorded history, according to recent government figures. As of Friday, the nation had documented 3,532 cases, a grim milestone that surpasses the 3,481 cases recorded in the 2018-2020 outbreak.
