Singer Victor Ruz has shed light on his prolonged break from the music industry, explaining his hiatus was a response to a perceived shift towards fleeting, superficial tracks.

For close to two years, Ruz remained largely out of the public eye, dedicating the time to observing the evolving landscape of music.

In a recent interview, the artist articulated his frustration with the prevalence of what he terms “bubble gum music” – songs lacking substance and longevity.

“I took a break from music because the music market was flooded with lots of bubble gum music at that time, like two years ago,” Ruz stated. He elaborated that such music, characterized by its lack of lasting impact and narrative, was excessively hyped on social media.

Ruz felt this trend overshadowed music that aimed for deeper meaning and enduring appeal, making it challenging for more substantial works to gain traction.

However, the singer has now announced the end of his break and his readiness to re-enter the music scene and re-establish his presence.

Fans can anticipate new releases from Victor Ruz as he embarks on this new phase of his musical journey.
