Harry Kane was the star of the show as champions Bayern Munich thrashed Cologne 5-1 in their final league match of the season. The prolific striker completed his hat-trick with goals in the 10th, 13th, and 69th minutes, bringing his league tally for the season to an impressive 36 goals.

Kane’s treble cemented his place as the Bundesliga’s top scorer for the third year running, a historic feat for a player in his first three seasons in Germany. He has now scored 98 goals in 94 league appearances for Bayern.

Despite a brief moment of concern when Cologne pulled one back in the 18th minute through Said El Mala, Bayern quickly reasserted their dominance. Tom Bischof restored their two-goal advantage minutes later, and Nicolas Jackson added a fifth goal in the 83rd minute.
