Sam Ntulume of I&M Bank Takes Helm as Rotary Club of Kampala Early Bird's Seventh President

The Rotary Club of Kampala Early Bird has welcomed Sam Ntulume as its new leader, marking the beginning of his one-year presidency. Ntulume, who also holds significant executive positions at I&M Bank, succeeds Victoria Kayagga Kigundu.

His installation marks a significant moment for the club, signaling a reinforced dedication to impactful community initiatives. Ntulume’s vision for his term is inspired by the biblical account of the Walls of Jericho, drawing parallels between the club’s seven-year journey and a coming “season of victory.”

During his inaugural address, Ntulume emphasized the symbolic importance of the seventh year, relating it to blessings and promising greater achievements for the club. He urged members to prioritize projects that directly benefit communities by saving lives, restoring hope, and enhancing well-being.

Furthermore, Ntulume pledged to align the club’s activities with the strategic priorities set forth by Rotary District 9136. These priorities include expanding membership, empowering youth, supporting The Rotary Foundation, improving public image, developing leadership, and executing effective community service projects.

Members of the club expressed their confidence in Ntulume’s leadership, tasking him with further enhancing the club’s profile to attract more support for its endeavors. Outgoing president Victoria Kayagga Kigundu highlighted key achievements during her tenure, including the successful completion of a classroom block at St. Dennis Ssebugwawo Primary School in Nakaseke.

The installation ceremony was a notable event, attended by dignitaries from the Buganda Kingdom, clergy, fellow Rotarians, and representatives from I&M Bank’s board and executive leadership.
