Tooro Kingdom Mourns King Oyo Amidst Succession Disputes

The Kingdom of Tooro prepares to lay its late monarch, Omukama Oyo Kabamba Iguru Rukiidi IV, to rest at the Karambi Royal Burial Grounds this Saturday, September 12th. His passing on August 27th marks the end of an era for the kingdom.

However, the solemn occasion of his burial is marred by a disturbing cacophony of “noxious noise” emanating from within the royal family itself. Reports indicate that almost immediately after King Oyo’s death was announced, certain factions within the Babiito clan abandoned all decorum and began fiercely vying for the vacant throne.
