Robert Dramwi Secures Third Term as Adjumani LC III Chairpersons Forum Leader

Robert Dramwi has been re-elected as the Chairperson of the Adjumani District LC III Chairpersons Forum for a third term. The win solidifies his leadership over the forum, which comprises the 11 LC III Chairpersons from Adjumani’s two town councils and nine sub-counties.

The election, held at the Adjumani District Local Government headquarters, saw Dramwi garner seven votes, surpassing Kennedy Kanzo, the LC III Chairperson of Pachara Sub-county, who secured four votes.

Dramwi, who is also serving his fourth term as the LC III Chairperson of Ofua Sub-county, expressed gratitude for the renewed trust placed in him by his colleagues. He pledged to focus on fostering unity among the LC III Chairpersons and ensuring robust representation of Adjumani District’s interests at both regional and national levels.

In his capacity, Dramwi will represent Adjumani in key bodies such as the West Nile Development Association (WENDA) and the Uganda Local Governments Association (ULGA). He also holds a position as Coordinator for the National Resistance Movement’s (NRM) Office of the National Chairman in the district.

Supporters have lauded Dramwi’s re-election, highlighting his commitment and experience. Richard Akuku AP, a supporter of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), described Dramwi as a dedicated leader who has served with integrity.

Newly elected Vice Chairperson Wellborn Kenyi, LC III Chairperson of Pakele Sub-county, pledged to collaborate closely with Dramwi. The duo aims to drive socio-economic transformation by mobilizing communities and encouraging participation in government poverty alleviation programs to improve household incomes across Adjumani District.

The incoming leadership is tasked with coordinating LC III chairperson activities, enhancing inter-local government collaboration, and advocating for the district’s priorities on broader platforms.
