Eddy Kenzo Refutes Corruption Claims Against UNMF

Musician Eddy Kenzo, who also serves as the president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), has addressed recent social media accusations of corruption within the organization. Kenzo stated that both he and the federation are committed to operating with integrity.
He emphasized that the UNMF’s activities are open to inspection by government authorities and stressed that no public funds have been misappropriated. “I am not corrupt and I am not afraid of anything. Our operations are clear and free from corruption. We have never embezzled taxpayers’ money, and whatever we do is backed by the laws of the country,” Kenzo stated in a television interview.
Kenzo urged critics to verify information before leveling accusations and affirmed that all federation activities are conducted within the bounds of the law.
