Museveni Urges Dutch Investors to Explore Uganda's Opportunities

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has bid farewell to the outgoing Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Uganda, H.E. Frederieke Quispel. The ambassador paid a courtesy call on the President at his Kisozi farm in Gomba District.

During their meeting, President Museveni lauded Ambassador Quispel for her service and her instrumental role in fostering stronger diplomatic ties between Uganda and the Netherlands. He expressed gratitude for her contributions to promoting cooperation and partnership between the two nations.

The President took the opportunity to encourage the outgoing envoy to continue advocating for Uganda as a prime investment destination. He specifically urged Dutch investors to capitalize on the country’s conducive investment environment and the wide array of opportunities present in Uganda’s key economic sectors.

Ambassador Quispel, who presented her credentials in August 2024, has worked diligently to deepen bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest between Uganda and the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The President wished her the very best in her future endeavors.
