Nansana’s dining scene has a new contender as Jeju Motel, formerly known as Jeju Pork Joint, has reinvented itself. The establishment, which operated as a pork butchery and joint for thirteen years, recently closed for four months to completely revamp its concept.
The result is a polished, family-friendly destination that retains its popular artisan pork while expanding its offerings to include goat, beef, and fish. Diners can now enjoy a diverse menu in a relaxed and neat environment, complete with new, trendy furniture and a large flat-screen television.
Jeju Motel now boasts a modern open kitchen featuring wood-fired barbecue pits with efficient smoke extraction systems. The kitchen is equipped with contemporary appliances, and the staff adhere to strict hygiene standards, wearing proper attire including hairnets and gloves.
What was once a car park has been transformed into a spacious dining area. A stage in the center hosts regular events like live music and comedy nights, adding an entertainment dimension to the dining experience. For those seeking more privacy, secluded seating arrangements are available towards the back.
The menu offers a variety of choices, with pork and goat available by the kilogram or single portions. The food is presented attractively and is noted for its taste, complemented by courteous and helpful waiting staff.
Jeju Motel marks a significant shift, demonstrating that traditional ‘pork joints’ can evolve into welcoming spaces suitable for families and a broader clientele.
