Veteran singer Mesach Semakula has issued a call to action for Uganda’s current music scene, imploring artists to shift their focus from prolific output to the creation of enduring, quality music.

He pointed to the recent phenomenon of classic Ugandan tracks experiencing a revival on social media platforms like TikTok as a testament to this.
