The Uganda U-20 women’s national football team, affectionately known as the Queen Cranes, has seen their dreams of competing in the Poland World Cup dashed. The team failed to secure the necessary victories in their qualifying matches, ultimately leading to their elimination from the tournament.
Despite efforts from key players, the team could not overcome their opponents. Captain Agnes Nabukenya, typically a dynamic presence in the attacking third, was unable to steer the team to the required results. The loss marks a significant disappointment for the squad and Ugandan women’s football.
The team’s performance in the qualifying rounds fell short of expectations, leaving them outside the qualification spots and unable to advance to the global stage.
