Promoter Nobat Labels Ray G "Most Difficult" Ugandan Artiste to Work With

Events promoter Norbert Twezire, widely recognized as Nobat Events, has shared his candid experiences working with artists in the Ugandan music industry. In a recent television interview, Nobat singled out contemporary artist Ray G as the most difficult musician he has encountered professionally.

Nobat recounted that he was instrumental in organizing one of Ray G’s first major successful shows in Kampala, which provided him with direct insight into the singer’s working style. He elaborated that Ray G’s calm and composed public image belies a significantly different personality when the cameras are off.

“On camera, you may think that Ray G is too calm… but wait until the cameras are off and he bares his teeth. The guy is a different version of what he portrays on camera. I’ve worked with difficult artists, but he tops the list,” Nobat stated.

In addition to his comments on Ray G, Nobat also revealed his biggest professional regret concerning financial investments. He named Weasel Manizo as the artist he most regrets investing money in, describing the outcome as deeply disappointing.

“The artist I regret investing my money in is Weasel. Sometimes I sit down and cry, but I leave everything to God,” he confessed.
