Promoters Shunned Me, Says King Michael Ahead of Serena Show

The seasoned artist expressed his dismay over the lack of interest from numerous promoters, who reportedly turned down opportunities to invest in the event.

“I’ve had songs like Kwata Kwata and Muko Muko that have had massive airplay for over a decade. I don’t see why no one would want to invest in me because my fans would come through,” King Michael stated during a recent television interview. He questioned the promoters’ judgment, highlighting the continued relevance and popularity of his music, which has dominated airwaves for more than ten years.

Facing this unexpected hurdle, the “Muko Muko” singer turned to a close, affluent acquaintance for assistance. This friend has agreed to fund the concert, contingent on King Michael providing a comprehensive budget for the entire production.

With the financial challenges now seemingly resolved, King Michael is focusing his energy on preparing for the concert.
