This marks a significant achievement for Kango, who also won the award in April, demonstrating consistent excellence in volleyball.

Okello’s award comes on the back of his crucial role in guiding Police FC to the Uganda Cup semifinals, where his team eventually lost to eventual winners Vipers SC. His contributions were vital throughout the competition and in league matches during May.

In netball, Mercy Chemutai was instrumental for the Prisons Netball Club as they secured qualification for the East Africa Netball Championship. Her leadership and performance were key to the team’s success in the qualification stages.

Ronald Muhirwa, representing Uganda in archery, received recognition for his strong showing at the Africa Archery Championship held in Pretoria, South Africa. His performance on the international stage brought a new dimension to the Real Stars Awards.
