Zaake to Focus on Leadership, Not Revenge Against Speaker Among

Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament, Francis Zaake, has stated his intention to set aside any personal grievances with Speaker Anita Among. He emphasized that his focus is on his new responsibilities as the chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Government Assurances.

Speaking in a recent interview, Zaake articulated that this new position is a chance to showcase exemplary leadership. “I will not seek revenge against Anita Among. I will simply show her what real leadership is,” he declared.

Zaake expressed his commitment to serving the people of Uganda above engaging in personal disputes. His primary objective in his committee role will be to hold the government accountable for its promises.

Specifically, the MP plans to exert pressure on the executive to ensure the fulfillment of pledges made by President Yoweri Museveni during election campaigns. He believes his committee can be a powerful tool for driving government accountability and delivering on commitments to the electorate.
