Museveni Appreciates Outgoing Dutch Envoy for Bolstering Uganda-Netherlands Relations

President Yoweri Museveni recently hosted Frederieke Quispel, the outgoing Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Uganda, for a farewell meeting at his Kisozi farm in Gomba District.
During their discussion, President Museveni lauded Ambassador Quispel for her dedicated service during her tenure. He specifically acknowledged her instrumental role in fostering and strengthening the bilateral relationship between Uganda and the Netherlands.
The President extended his best wishes to Ambassador Quispel for her future endeavors. He also expressed gratitude for her work in promoting cooperation and partnership between the two nations.
Furthermore, President Museveni seized the opportunity to encourage the departing envoy to continue advocating for Uganda as a prime investment location. He urged potential Dutch investors to explore the opportunities present in Uganda’s favorable investment climate and its diverse economic sectors.
Ambassador Quispel, who presented her credentials in August 2024, has been active in deepening collaboration between Uganda and the Netherlands on matters of shared interest.
