Veteran Ugandan singer Haruna Mubiru has publicly requested Eddy Kenzo, his counterpart in the music industry and a Presidential Advisor on Creatives, to play a mediating role in the dispute between artist King Saha and Minister Haruna Kasolo.

Mubiru, who states he has a close relationship with Minister Kasolo, emphasized that Kenzo’s official capacity provides a unique avenue to address conflicts impacting the creative sector. He believes Kenzo’s office is well-positioned to organize a meeting and foster understanding between Saha and the minister.

“I think the leaders of musicians in UNMF, particularly Eddy Kenzo, should move into this matter before it worsens,” Mubiru stated in a recent television interview. He elaborated that Kenzo’s advisory role offers a direct link to both parties, making him an ideal facilitator for reconciliation.

Mubiru further indicated his readiness to formally write to Eddy Kenzo, outlining the situation and encouraging a proactive approach to resolving the disagreement before it escalates further.
