Uganda Revenue Authority Reports Strong Adoption of Digital Tax Stamps

The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has announced a significant milestone in its tax administration efforts, with 1,680 manufacturers and importers now registered and actively using the Digital Tax Stamps (DTS) system. This initiative, aimed at curbing tax evasion and boosting revenue collection, has been met with considerable uptake since its implementation.
