Ugandan singer Lydia Jazmine has urged her colleagues in the music scene to rally behind Joshua Baraka instead of trying to hinder his rise.
In a recent TV interview, she highlighted that Baraka’s successes are a collective victory for Uganda’s music industry and the country as a whole.
Jazmine pointed out that some artists appear resentful of his rapid growth, calling such attitudes unnecessary. “His success is for the whole industry and the country,” she stated.
Joshua Baraka stands out as one of Uganda’s top international acts, currently among the most in-demand performers from the country worldwide.
