She Corporate Edges Closer to Second Fufa Women Super League Title

She Corporate from Jinja is poised to claim their second Finance Trust Bank Fufa Women Super League title after a hard-fought 2-1 home win against St. Noa Girls Zana at Fufa Technical Centre in Njeru. Goalkeeper Molly Naava was crucial in the first half, while Rebecca Nakato and Jesca Namanda scored early in the second to secure the lead. Imelda Kasemire pulled one back late for the fifth-placed visitors, but it wasn’t enough.
Now with 50 points from 20 matches, She Corporate leads the table. Kawempe Muslim, hosting Rines SS, took the lead through Jovia Nakagolo, equalized by Jasmine Nalukwago before captain Agnes Nabukenya’s 65th-minute winner gave them a 2-1 victory and 48 points, keeping the title race tight with two games left.
Kampala Queens strengthened their third-place bid with a 2-1 away win at Lady Doves, thanks to Joanita Ainembabazi’s decisive goal, lifting them to 35 points. Uganda Martyrs drew 1-1 at She Maroons, staying fourth on 29 points. St. Noa remains on 27 with games in hand.
Amus College dominated the Teso derby, thrashing Olila High School 4-0 with a hat-trick from Shayline Opisa and one from Mariam Namataka, holding seventh on 25 points. Makerere University edged relegated Asubo Ladies 2-1, with goals from Allen Nassazi and Fungo Nabede, securing sixth place on 27 points.
Rines SS stays ninth on 20 points, one ahead of Lady Doves on 19.
