Maro, the talented Ugandan singer, has recently shared insights into the making of his hit song “Anjagala” remix. During an interview on Record FM, Maro revealed that before teaming up with Fefe Bussi for the popular remix, he had approached another well-known Ugandan rapper for the collaboration.

Maro explained that he personally reached out to the unnamed rapper at a time when the original “Anjagala” was gaining significant traction. He outlined his vision for the remix and expressed his desire for the rapper’s involvement.

However, according to Maro, after agreeing to send the song over, the rapper never followed up. “I reached out to him, explained myself and my intentions. He then asked me to send him the song and that’s the last time we ever talked,” Maro recounted.
