Latinum Declares Himself Mbarara's Top Artist, Dismissing Kampala Show Impact

Musician Latinum has reiterated his claim to being the preeminent artist hailing from Mbarara, even as fellow musician Ray G recently held a highly successful concert at Kampala’s Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.

The Kololo event, which drew a significant crowd, has been widely viewed as a major achievement for Ray G, solidifying his burgeoning popularity beyond his stronghold in Western Uganda.

However, Latinum remains steadfast in his assertion of regional supremacy. He suggests that a prominent performance in Kampala does not automatically translate to being the most influential artist within their shared home territory of Mbarara.

Latinum’s comments come at a time when Ray G’s national profile is experiencing a notable surge following the Kololo showcase, which underscored his capacity to command a large audience in the capital.
