Dancehall artist Kid Fox has faced another hurdle in his attempt to revive his music career following the collapse of a planned collaboration with fellow musician Alien Skin.
Kid Fox, who recently returned to Uganda with aspirations of reigniting his musical journey, revealed that the anticipated song between him and Alien Skin could not be recorded. He explained that certain aspects of the project remained unclear, leading to the impasse.
“There are a few things which we need to make clear for the project to come to life. He came to the studio, but we never recorded because of such,” Kid Fox stated.
Reports suggest that Alien Skin requested a sum of Shs5 million for the collaboration. This significant financial demand is widely believed to be the primary reason the recording session did not proceed.
The collaboration was reportedly facilitated by veteran producer Washington, who had envisioned the project as mutually beneficial for both artists.
As it stands, the much-anticipated musical project is off the table. Kid Fox continues to focus on his determined efforts to make a substantial comeback in Uganda’s vibrant music industry.
