Speaking at the commissioning of the Nsomba Seventh-day Adventist Church, she stressed the importance of wealth creation and community-driven transformation.
Babalanda highlighted that religious institutions play a crucial role beyond spiritual guidance, serving as centers for moral instruction and catalysts for community development. She encouraged congregants to utilize the church as a platform to foster discipline, hard work, and mutual respect within their localities.
During the event, the minister commended individuals and families, including land donor Zebroni Ngoma and the family of the late Dhikusoka, for their contributions to the church’s construction. She also donated a water source to serve both the church and the Nsomba community, urging residents to ensure its sustainable management.
