Ugandan musician King Saha has publicly declared his terms for forgiving Minister Haruna Kasolo, stating that financial recompense for a canceled concert is paramount. Saha claims the cancellation of his planned event in Kyotera, which he attributes to the minister’s actions, has plunged him into significant debt.
The artist expressed his frustration over the lingering financial obligations to event organizers, promoters, and various service providers. These outstanding payments, he explained, have become a considerable burden on his finances.
During a recent television interview, King Saha emphasized that his pursuit of resolution is not driven by personal animosity or a desire for revenge. Instead, his primary concern is the resolution of the financial fallout stemming from the aborted concert.
“I don’t have a major issue with him apart from the cancelled concert. I see him enjoying with his women while I continue to live in debts caused by his decisions,” Saha stated, highlighting the stark contrast between his financial struggles and the minister’s perceived indifference. He added that his willingness to cease public discussion of the matter is contingent on Kasolo addressing these debts directly.
“I will stop talking about him if he clears the debts. I don’t even want to touch that money. I want him to find the promoters, organisers, and service providers and clear them,” he reiterated. The singer’s focus remains on ensuring all parties affected financially by the concert’s cancellation are properly compensated.
