General Muhoozi Mediates Bebe Cool-Jolly Mutesi Social Media Dispute

A public social media feud between Ugandan musician Bebe Cool and former Miss Rwanda Jolly Mutesi has reportedly been defused thanks to the intervention of General Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

The dispute, which lasted for two days, centered on allegations made by Bebe Cool that Mutesi had defrauded him. He claimed that Mutesi had promised to help his son, Alpha Thierry Ssali, secure opportunities with European football clubs, among other commitments, which he alleged did not materialize.

Jolly Mutesi vehemently denied these accusations and had reportedly instructed her lawyer, Counsel Mukasa Mbidde, to issue a legal notice to Bebe Cool.

However, Bebe Cool announced the end of the public spat on his X (formerly Twitter) account this afternoon. He stated that he received a call from General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, whom he referred to as his “big brother and leader.” According to Bebe Cool, General Muhoozi advised him to “cease fire,” delete his tweets, and resolve the issue privately, emphasizing their familial connection to the General and the lack of need for a public confrontation.

Bebe Cool expressed his appreciation for the guidance and agreed to the terms, believing the matter will now be settled peacefully. He highlighted that both he and Jolly Mutesi have close ties to General Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
