The Parliament of Uganda is preparing to receive the body of the late General (Rtd) Moses Ali on Tuesday morning. Gen. Ali, who served Uganda for many decades in key military and political capacities, including as Second Deputy Prime Minister and Member of Parliament for Adjumani West, will be honored in a special parliamentary sitting.

President Yoweri Museveni is scheduled to attend the session and deliver a tribute to Gen. Ali, his longtime associate. The program indicates the body will arrive at Parliament by 7:30 AM, with the special sitting commencing at 10:00 AM. The Speaker of Parliament, Jacob Oboth-Oboth, will preside over the proceedings.
