Omega 256 has publicly called for an apology from Cindy Sanyu following recent comments made by the “Ayinza” singer regarding their successful collaboration, “See You Tonight.”

Speaking to local media, Omega expressed that Cindy’s remarks were unfair and tarnished her reputation. She emphasized that the narrative presented about the song’s production and ownership did not align with her significant financial investment in the project, covering both audio and video aspects.

“I need an apology from her because she has affected my brand. I have never done something bad to her. The comments she made were all false. I contributed financially to the audio and video production,” Omega stated.

Omega further shared that she has previously supported Cindy in public interviews, even when it led to criticism from the public. She described Cindy’s recent statements as derogatory, arguing they have had a negative effect on her professional image and standing.

The disagreement between the two artists over “See You Tonight” continues, with both offering contrasting accounts of its production, ownership, and how revenues are shared. Despite the public dispute, the song remains a major success in Uganda’s music scene, achieving significant popularity and critical acclaim.
