Katongole Anthony, widely recognized by his stage name Chicken Chicken, is currently detained by police after an alleged altercation that led to vandalism.

The incident occurred on Wednesday night in Kampala, where the comedian is accused of participating in the destruction of a vehicle.Reports indicate that comedian Shawa Shawa filed a case with the police, leading to Chicken Chicken’s arrest.

A video circulating online appears to show Chicken Chicken and a group of associates damaging a Toyota Mark X, registration UBM 696S, which is reportedly owned by Shawa Shawa. The footage captures the group allegedly smashing the car’s windows.

While Chicken Chicken remains in custody for the night, his associates reportedly fled the scene. Police are actively seeking to apprehend the individuals who accompanied him, confirming that efforts are underway to locate and arrest them.

This incident has led to the comedian spending the night behind bars as investigations continue.
