Tooro Kingdom seeks Shs925 million for new king's enthronement

The Tooro Kingdom is gearing up for the coronation of Prince Edward Kijanangoma Rukidi Nyabongo I as its new king, Omukama of Tooro. The central organizing committee has revealed a substantial budget of Shs925 million to facilitate the one-day enthronement ceremony, scheduled to take place on September 29.

This significant event will formally usher in the reign of Nyabongo I, who was chosen by the Babiito royal clan to succeed the late Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV.
