Producer D’Mario has publicly recognized Dokta Brain as a highly skilled but underappreciated artist within the Ugandan music scene.
During a recent television appearance, D’Mario was asked to identify easy collaborators and promptly named Dokta Brain. He specifically commended the artist’s speed and dedication to perfection, noting that Dokta Brain often completes a song in under thirty minutes.
“He is a perfectionist and works very quickly. He doesn’t even take over 30 minutes on a song,” D’Mario stated.
D’Mario further elaborated that Dokta Brain has made significant, albeit quiet, contributions to the industry over time. The artist has penned and featured on numerous tracks, yet his efforts have not garnered the widespread recognition he warrants.
The producer also extended praise to fellow artist King Saha, describing him as another outstanding talent D’Mario has had the pleasure of working with. Saha was highlighted for his versatility and willingness to experiment with various musical styles, rather than sticking to a single genre.
“Whenever Saha starts jotting down a song, I see another direction. He is not always pinned in one genre; he is always looking to diversify,” D’Mario observed.
Meanwhile, Dokta Brain is gearing up for his first-ever concert. The event is slated for September at Skyz Hotel in Naguru, providing an opportunity for him to share his musical evolution with his audience.
