Uganda Mourns BBS Journalist Joseph Sseruwooza

The nation is mourning the loss of Joseph Sseruwooza, a respected journalist and host from BBS Terefayina. Sseruwooza passed away early Friday morning at Mulago National Referral Hospital due to complications following surgery for an ulcer.

BBS Terefayina confirmed the sad news, highlighting Sseruwooza’s significant contributions to the newsroom. He was particularly known for his coverage of Parliament and for hosting the popular political talk show “Zuukuka n’Ensonga.”

Colleagues and public figures have expressed shock and sadness, remembering Sseruwooza as a diligent reporter committed to public service. Many noted his ability to bring parliamentary proceedings closer to the public and his dedication to giving a voice to the voiceless.
