This Sunday’s Finance Trust Bank Fufa Women Super League (FTBFWSL) fixtures present significant tests for both Kawempe Muslim and league leaders She Corporate.
Kawempe Muslim, currently second in the standings with 48 points, travels to face Kampala Queens, the defending champions. This encounter is often a closely contested affair, but Kampala Queens, sitting 13 points behind Kawempe, will play with a relaxed pressure that can make them a dangerous opponent. Kawempe also faces squad availability issues, with key players involved in an U-20 World Cup qualifier and school games.
Any dropped points by Kawempe could allow table-toppers She Corporate to clinch the 2025/26 title. She Corporate, with 50 points, visits Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga, who are fourth. While Uganda Martyrs have little to play for but pride, She Corporate are buoyed by recent accolades. Striker Jesca Namanda and coach Belyse Ininahazwe were named the league’s best player and coach for April, respectively.
In other matches, St. Noa Girls play Amus College, relegated sides Asubo Ladies and Olila face She Maroons and Lady Doves, respectively, and Rines will host Makerere University.
