On the 19.Feb.2009 117 cattle, 10 goats and 26 sheep will be sold in an auction and the money raised be spent on government projects. Th animals are some of the gifts donated to the President on the various tours he makes within the country.

"The upcoming auction is in the best practices of animal husbandry which require that herds are periodically culled and older stock removed," said presidential spokesman Fred Opolot.
