The fight that is brought to you by Suudiman Entertainment and sponsored by NBS, Riham Cola, Galaxy FM and Candy Entertainment will take place on Valentine's day at the MTN Arena. Tickets will be going for 20 and 50K. Upcoming artist Ceaserous will perform.

It's over 2 years now when the fight was last held and Titus Tugume feels he's more than ready to take on the man who has resorted to having jackfruit for breakfast..

"It was an affair..." instead of unfair as he responded to journalists who were interviewing him about the fight. It's said that he also forgot his military rank and number in the process.

Tugume will first fight Sylvia Owori's ex, Malik Kalisa, before taking on the No joking subject man, Golola Moses.

Richard Abraham kicks Golola who was trying to get up from the canvas

Uganda's kick boxer, Moses Golola lost to America's Richard Abraham by 24 points according to the results from the three judges. Judge 1- Golola 35-50 Abraham, Judge 2- Golola 47-49 Abraham, Judge 3- Golola 45-50 Abraham.

Not even the home advantage could help the fast talking kick boxer and on noticing that it was too much, the fans opted on telling the referee to stop the fight prematurely lest Golola is 'killed'. In each round, Golola touched the canvas at least thrice.

But trust Golola, after the fight, he said; Abraham weighed 6kgs more than me, that's why he was able to take the belt, but, I want a rematch. After getting some sleep, he took to his wall; You can win Golola Moses but you can never defeat Golola Moses. There is no retreat no surrender."

Meanwhile, it was a massive celebration for Richard Abraham who was so excited after being declared the winner, he got a babe in the process cheering him all the way.

American kick boxer Richard Abraham speaking to the press after the fight

Moses Golola Loses Intercontinental Belt to Abraham

Uganda's kick boxing champion, Moses Golola is still nursing wounds sustained from Richard Abraham when he lost the fight. It was a five round fight, though Golola kept on touching the canvas coupled with receiving several blows right to his face.

Golola borrowed a leaf from Titus Tugume by bringing a coffin, fortunately for Richard Abraham, he did not require the coffin as the intercontinental belt was his to take. Golola lost on points; 50-45, 47-49, 45-50. Abraham had made it clear that he will discipline Golola in the ring the moment he discovered that he was great at talking.

It's not clear what Golola's plans are going forward, but he will soon tell his fans why Richard Abrahams beards failed to shake when he unleashed his kicks. The fight was brought to you by Golola Promotions, so there should not be any aftermath issues like it was at Hotel Africana a few years back. Fans had to put resources together for Golola to check out of the hotel.

Moses Golola VS. Richard Abraham

Moses Golola of Uganda is set for the Friday fight that will take place at Speke Resort Munyonyo. However, the latest info coming in states that Abraham was supposed to be here days back, but with hours to the fight, Richard Abraham is yet to jet into the country.

While appearing on local TV, the fast speaking kick boxer said he does not want to thump him Tugume style, I will knock him down in the fourth round. "I want people to enjoy the fight, not to pay their money and within seconds, the fight is over."

Unlike other fights, this one is brought to you by Golola Promotions. Entrance fee is 10k and VIP 50K. Meanwhile, on the tickets, there is no date for the fight and It's not clear if the fight will take place if at all complaints by Richard Abraham's camp is anything to go by.

"Golola Promotions are being very unfair. Not only have they failed to provide per the stipulations of the contract, they have actually sent us falsified documents."

“We have spent several hundreds of dollars for the necessary shots, medication, and blood work that would allow us to travel. We feel this money is now wasted. Richard has trained very hard and we feel he has been cheated of his chance to fight for a WKF title."

This is happening at the time when the Busy Signal show that was to take place on 31.Aug.2014 has been cancelled. Promoter Suudiman, the very man behind the Busy Signal was also working hand in hand with Golola to bring in Richard Abraham.

Golola Thumps Ronald Mugula

Golola Moses declared the Champion with a win from the two judges (50-48, 50-49) and a (49-49) from the third judge.

The five round fight between Moses Golola and Ronald Mugula kicked off at about 1:30am on International Women's day. Freedom City had over 4,000 fans who came to witness the fight. Ronald Mugula was able to go beyond the first round unlike Titus Tugume who only did seconds and the game was over.

In the first round, Golola's jabs were able to send Mugula down twice as he tried out his famous kick which was doing little at saving him. The light rain forced both Mugula and Golola down in the second round though by this time, most fans had already predicted Golola as the winner.

In round three, the lights went off. The fight was stopped briefly but on resuming, it was not easy for Mugula as he touched the canvass twice and the same continued to round four. During the break of round four, Golola Moses of Uganda was busy displaying his dancing skills.

Round five was not any easier for Mugula as he still went down trying to experiment with his kick which instead sent him to the canvass. This is what Golola said shortly after being declared the winner:

"I came to finish the mission and prove to the whole world that I'm the undisputed king of kick-boxing in Uganda." And for Mugula he said: ''If those are the results let them be."

Moses Golola won UPDF's Titus Tugume
Entebbe road had five lanes between Kibuye round about and Freedom city where the fight between Moses Golola and UPDF's Titus Tugume was to be held.

Since the fight was not going to be live on any of the local television channels, fans had to make their way to Freedom City to see who will go back in the coffin that Tugume had arranged. Unfortunately, seconds into the game, it was all over after Golola's first jab sent the UPDF man flying all the way down.

Earlier on, Golola had assured his fans that he will thump him to the extent of forgetting his number in the military. We are yet to establish that though it seems to be a more practical one as compared to going back in a coffin that Titus had prepared for Golola had he won.

This was Golola's first fight with a Ugandan kick-boxer. So Golola is not a joking subject after all.

Moses Golola was no joke this time around as he beat the hell out of Istvan Betyar
After being thumped by Zsamboki Mate and Andras Nagy, Golola's fans had given up on him advising that he should resort to comedy but yesterday(Apr 19), all this was reversed when Uganda's kick-boxing champion, Moses Golola won Istvan Betyar by 10 points.

The five rounds fight was held at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds with each round lasting two minutes with a minute break. "He thought that I was going to use old moves, but a few seconds into the fight, he realised that I was only using new kick-boxing moves. That is when he started avoiding me, otherwise It was meant to be a knock out." Golola said after the fight.

The fast-talking kickboxer added: "I hear Titus Tugume wants a fight with me hmmm, well I'm more than prepared to show my fans what the new Golola is made of."

In the past Golola used to take passion juice and porridge but this time round, he took cement and concrete and the results have turned out to be positive.

Meanwhile, after Moses Golola and Titus Tugume, Eric Kidega Onen is the next Ugandan kick-boxing champion to look out for in the International Kickboxing spotlight. The fight between Eric Onen and Henry Bannert is slated for Apr 27 in Vienna.

Golola is back in the ring

Kick boxing sensation Golola Moses of Uganda is back and this time he promises fire. The fight will be held on April 19, 2013 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds. "Ladies and Gentlemen this is Golola Moses of Uganda, the hot temper, am back in action 19th-04-2013, my fanz come and support yo boy, ono muja mulonda Bwaise."

Just when kickboxing was almost dead and buried, Golola came to its rescue. Initially many thought he was just some loud mouth, comical man before he knocked out his Sudanese opponent Abdul Qadir Rahim in the second round winning himself a World Kick-boxing Africa Title.

In December 2011, Andras Nagy Thumped Golola Moses inspite of several groin attacks from the Ugandan kick-boxer and in June 2012, Zsamboki Mate almost took him out of action to the extent that he was just running, sitting or kneeling while in the ring as the experienced Zsamboki unleashed more kicks and punches on him.

On being interviewed about his last fight, he told snoops that his leg had been 'discolocated' read dislocated. Comedy groups made a lot of money as they did various stints mimicking him in the fight coupled with the words that he said, the porridge that he took let alone the food he ate.

Unfortunately for him, he even lost all the money after knocking off all the overheads, he was left with nothing. The money to pay for his hotel accommodation and other costs was fundraised in order for him to check out of the hotel, but now he says forget the past, come and support yo boy, I won't let you down this time.

Kick-boxer Moses Golola being helped out of the State House vehicle
Last week on Saturday at Nakivubo stadium, almost whoever turned up for the football competions was astonished by Moses Golola's swagg.

After getting thumped some two weeks back at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds, he was once again seen at Nakivubo stadium as the Kabaka of Buganda his majesty graced the official launch of the 'Bika bya Baganda' football competitions.

Clad in a cream court, white Kanzu and a walking stick, Golola was seen moving in a government vehicle registration number UG1790C with a white lady leaving everyone wondering if she is a security operative or holding any post in the state house.

The two later dashed to the car and drove off to un known destination. Many people were left wondering if Golola had landed himself a job at State house or gotten this lady as someone who was to wash away the pain that he sustained in his last fight with Hungarian Zsamboki Mate who left him speaking in tongues.

It's not a joking subject; I'm sorry...!
"Its not a joking subject, ebintu bya kweyiiya, naye ba people I'm sorry." Motor-mouthed kick boxing star is back after nursing injuries sustained on his knee during the June 29th fight at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds that made him ask his coach if his intestines were not out.

Appearing at the Grand Imperial Hotel swimming pool area, the kickboxer was approached by some huge guys who were requesting for a fight with him now that they were more built than him and yet small guys from Hungary have been thumping him.

He then said: "Im sorry to all my fans. I know most of you are saying Im stupid. I went to the ring and I was eager to come out with a title but because of the knee problem, I could not fight on."

Zsamboki is aggressive and good. I wanted to take him on through footwork, naye byagaana(It failed) because of the knee, ndowooza mukitegeera (I hope you understand)."

Golola nursing a knee injury that he sustained in lazst Friday's fight with Zsamboki Mate. On the right are the Big Brother representatives

There were negative reactions from the public when Miss Uganda was crowned, when the couple to represent Uganda in the Big Brother appeared on TV and now Golola has been roasted in the same manner.

Phiona Bizzu - It was a red carpet moment and after carefully screening the 22 finalists, 19-year-old Phiona Bizzu won the crown and will be representing Uganda in the forthcoming Miss World. There was an out burst from the public on the choice by the judges.

Kyle and Jannette - Then came Big Brother Africa in which many had hoped that Michael and Natasha were going to represent the country in South Africa on reality TV. They were dead wrong as Kyle and Jannette matched the requirements of what they were looking for from those that auditioned in Uganda.

Many had predicted that the couple representing Uganda will be the first one to be evicted, but the random nomination ball did wonders for them as the Ugandan ball was not selected to the time they scrapped the system after merging the houses into one. Kyle is now up for eviction but at least after spending half the time in the house.

Golola Moses - After his last fight with Zsamboki Mate from Hungary, many fans started giving motor-mouthed kick-boxer Moses Golola alternatives to his 'game' that he has single handedly promoted and these included: Replacing Paddy Butama in the Amarula comedy group, being an MC, Gym Instructor, Mingling Posho at boarding schools among others.

All that the above mentioned need is your support more than insults. Olympic Games are around the corner so when Team Uganda falls short of getting Medals equivalent to the number we are sending to London, we should still give them a pat on the back nkt like the Golola-Bizzu booing.

Golola pleading with Mate to stop punching him

Moses Golola has lost yet another fight to Hungarian Zsamboki Mate in a fight that was to be ten rounds of 2 minutes each but lasted only six rounds after Golola asked that the match be stopped.

Golola was the first one to come to the ring though he looked scared from the onset. After some time, Mate who was tightly guarded appeared. For some reason, the DJ failed to play the National anthems for Uganda and Hungary.

This must have been Zsamboki Mate's first fight in which the Hungarian anthem was not sung but that did not stop him from beating Golola thoroughly.

Mate was too good for Golola that whatever golola tried out, he could end up falling or missing and most times running as Zsamboki thumped him. During the post match interview, Golola said that he dislocated his leg and that is what led to the loss.

However, while in the ring, you could see him running and jumping instead of kicking and boxing. On several occasions he tried wrestling Zsamboki to the canvas but that just earned him more kicks that always left him struggling to get on his feet.

Golola had warned that he was going to beat Zsamboki and would end up in the Bwaise floods.

Moses Golola in last fight with Nagy
Uganda's kick-boxing champion Moses Golola is back in the ring and will be tussling it out with Zamboki on the 29-Jun-2012 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds in a World title fight.

You all remember the drama that unfolded in his last fight at Hotel Africana when Nagy thumped him only to be left in his hotel room with a belt.

Trust Golola at his game, he is now warning how he is going to pull out Zamboki's tongue. Iryn Namubiru will be one of the artistes to perform during the show. Golola's earnings have been trimmed now that the show has to end by 10:00PM

Meanwhile, there will be a re-match between Titus Tugume the 'Hard Rock' and Malik Kalisa the 'Hitman' on 13-July-2012 as he tries his kicking antics on Titus to see if he can bring him down this time.

Golola, Patrick Kanyomozi and Rahma Kanyomozi during their introdcution ceremony
Uganda's kick-boxer Moses Golola has checked out of Hotel Africana after being bailed out by South African Ugandan based aritst Rich Kats who paid over 900,000/- as hotel costs.

Golola and his manager Patrick Kanyomozi have been having misunderstandings over how much money should be taken by either party. Kanyomozi held a press conference at Oasis Restaurant,  Lugogo to try and clear the space in which he said that Golola's elder brother Pastor Mayambala is the one behind all this.

According to Kanyomozi, he has the money and he is ready to pass it on to Golola's legal manager who in this case is not Pastor Mayambala. Patrick read a message off his blackberry phone from Golola which sounded like he was fine however, the people around him are the ones blowing up the situation, said the sports journalist and Golola's manager Patrick Kanyomozi.

Meanwhile, the kick-boxer is very bitter and it's only wise for Kanyomozi not to cross his path now because he might descend on him like he did to a BBC journalist before the Nagy fight forcing him to take to his heels.

Rahma Mbabazi Kanyomozi has done the noble thing like any wife would do and stood by her man during the time he was rumoured to have taken off with Golola's dime. She took to his wall and this was the posting: "Just to be clear,i pride my self in having a good en' honest man,...some one is trying to destroy his name just to create a situation.....the truth will come out soon en' i say that in the name of Allah....so pliz just stop the insults already,he deserves better...."

It is not clear if Golola will be able to work with Kanyomozi after this.

Nagy Andras In Town For the Friday Fight with Golola

Tuesday, December 13 2011

Moses Golola checked in at Wampewo Avenue based Hotel Africana on Thursday ahead of the Friday fight with Hungarian Andras Nagy and the end result of the match has been the talk of the town since then now that the game was live on NTV.

Talking to journalists who checked on him at the hotel where he was at least by yesterday Golola was still upset with his manager who left the Hotel even before they had announced the winner.

The following day, Golola's manager Patrick Kanyomozi had switched off all his known phones leaving them with no choice but to report the matter to police. On reaching the police, they were advised to meet Kanyomozi at Nakumatt Oasis.

Kanyomozi informed them of how 2,900 watched the match and had about 70m before taking care of the costs related to the fight. Golola was entitled to 40% that was estimated at Shs30m but in the meeting they had after knocking off all the overheads, Golola was left with about Shs7.2m

To make matters worse, Golola has not yet received medical attention from the injuries he sustained during the fight. Golola says that in April next year, he will be fighting to retain the belt that he had in his hotel room at Hotel Africana.

Golola is currently at the hotel with his brother and manager pastor Mayambala who has been taking care of emergecy costs. There are so many versions of what transpired after the fight on who actually won but since there will be a rematch, it's only wise for Golola to take the necessary steps now that can help him contain  Nagy then before reclaiming his position without any doubt.

Golola descending on Nagy during the WKF fight on December 09 at Hotel Africana in Kampala
(Updated) - The latest information we are receiving on kickboxer Moses Golola is that he's still being held at Hotel Africana over unpaid hotel bills and the space where the fight was held.

Golola in a press briefing this morning at the hotel was reacting to those who thought he was hiding after the Friday match that ended up in Nagy being declared winner by the referee and yet the judges had declared Golola.

Golola says that his manager Patrick Kanyomozi disappeared with about Shs30m as proceeds from the gate collections before clearing bills and other costs related to the fight that took place at Hotel Africana.

We are yet to hear from Golola's manager over these allegations, short of that Golola could have been all over giving us insights of the fight and how Nagy reacted on every punch and kick that he unleashed on Hungarian Andras Nagy.

Meanwhile, on the World KickBoxing Federation website, Andras Nagy is being recognized as the winner for the December 09 fight in Kampala though Golola has the belt and was posing for pics with it at Hotel African during the press briefing in which the issue of the Shs30million row between his managers and his family came up.

The rematch between Nagy and Golola will be here in Kampala on April 27, 2012 and hopefully by then Moses would have had ample training on kickboxing so that we do not see scenes of wrestling in the game.

At the end of it all we should have a clear winner and not this business of a win split between the belt and the title

Andras Nagy from Hungary emerged the winner of a five round fight against Golola Moses which was held at Hotel Africana on December 09, 2011. Moses Golola wanted to knock out the experienced kickboxer from Hungary in the first rounds but it was not easy.

The two fighters put up a spirited fight until the end of round five and as we prepared for round six even after the model had moved around with a placard clearly labelled round 6, they said the fight will end right there.

Golola was by then over bleeding from the nose and chances are this is the reason the sixth round was cancelled because it is not right to continue with the fight when one of them is bleeding.

The fight attracted over 5,000 people who came to support motor mouthed Golola who according to many should have taken this fight as seen from the resistance coupled with the knock outs he passed on to Nagy in the first three rounds.

On two occasions Nagy suffered groin injuries and the game had to be stopped briefly to allow him recover. Our Golola Moses will have his face to nurse but Nagy will equally have to take care of his groin injuries.

The fight which had Roger Mugisha and MC Kats as the MCs was live on NTV and our facebook page. On announcing Andras the winner, you could clearly see that the crowd was not impressed.

Naggy Andras with Kweli Productions CEO, Patrick Kanyomozi
Nagy Andras from Hungary is in town ahead of the December 09, 2011 WKF Intercontinental fight with Golola Moses who has been spitting fire and smashing rocks in the hills of Kabale a few days back. The fight will be broadcasted live on NTV from Hotel Africana.

Nagy Andras arrived on Monday but you could clearly see that he was already scared of Golola may be from the clips he saw while Golola was taking a huge bowl of porridge and smashing a hilly rock while training.

Meanwhile, where there is Golola, there is always free drama and this is what happened on Tuesday afternoon when he descended onto a one Hugo Williams a BBC journalist. Williams had come to cover Golola but decided to provide the shield for him t hit while training, but the rate at which the kicks were flowing, the journalist was forced to take off for his dear life.

The fight is brought to you by Kweli Productions.
