Modern Coast bus resumes Nairobi - Kampala route

The year 2020 has had its challenges, but business is slowly picking up and resuming operations and among them is the Modern Cost bus services.

A source from the company adds that it has been 265 days since they last operated that route.

"Two days to the maiden Nairobi to Kampala trip and we just can't keep calm!

The Modern Bus service last traveled to Kampala on March 19 2020, but this also comes with new border requirements for those intending to travel this Thursday and among them is COVID-19 certificate.

Modern Coast Buses to Malindi and Kampala

Others include a yellow fever certificate and a passport or temporary passport. You can also use your national ID. 

The bus will set off from Nairobi through Nakuru, Kisumu, Busia, Jinja, Kampala and back.

If you were one planning to reunite with your family during this festive season, then the wait is over.
