Beach Demolition-Bobi Wine considers court action

Beach Demolition-Bobi Wine considers court action

It's Kabaka's birthday the same day Morgan Heritage will be performing live in Kampala, all the Rastas are feeling good, unlike Bobi Wine who is on a rampage following the demolitions on his beach last Friday.

The Omubanda Wa Kabaka has released a statement on the very day when all subjects loyal to the King are in Buloba-Busiro celebrating his 62nd birthday.

Earlier on, Bobi had chosen to play things calm, but when an official from Mengo came up with a statement on the now contentious issue, it did not go down well with him, thus a long report in which he states the following;

"In that statement, there were many deliberate lies, inconsistencies and misinformation intended to portray me as someone who was illegally occupying the land in question and who had been warned several times to vacate it and refused. He revealed details of my transactions which I considered confidential."

Bobi Wine is so disturbed. In 2010, he bought 4 acres of land, paid all the premiums and was granted a 49-year-lease, but four years down the line, the same is being cancelled.

"I developed the area by installing electricity, planted several species of imported trees and the very people demolishing were there to celebrate with me some of these developments."

It's the second time this is happening so Bobi Wine can't hold it any longer, he wants to be sure the Kabaka is aware all this is happening. A detailed post can be found on his Facebook portfolio, but he states categorically that it's not him carrying out the evictions in Busabala, it's Kingdom officials.

Bobi Wine concludes;

"Although it was not my intention to pursue this matter any longer, Mr. Kiyimba’s statement has left me with no option but to seek justice and clear my name through all available legal avenues. This decision comes after long and deep thought, and I hope it can be a step towards pursuing justice for many people and improving relations between the Kingdom and the common person."
