"I've forgiven him but unfortunately he was detained...."

Moneybags SK. Mbuga has been arrested after allegedly assaulting her on-and-off lover Leila Kayondo. The arrest follows Leila's post on facebook in which she appealed to the Inspector General of Police to intervene after various attempts of reporting the matter to Kabalagala police were foiled.

The DPC Kabalagala police post was put on the spotlight in fact, the Director of Interpol Asan Kasingye keenly followed up the matter and within no time, Sully K. Mbuga was arrested. Leila needed to make a statement specifically with the latest incident for the case to end up in court.

However, on getting to Kabalagala Police Station, Leila could not believe her eyes that her lover was in the coolers, she ended up crying and pleading with the authorities to have her boo released. This was conflicting with her posts on facebook in which she was crying out for help.

As we file this, Leila has removed all the posts regarding the beating by her lover and replaced it with this one;

"To all my friends and family thank you so much for the love and support you showed me in a hard moment. I forgave SK Mbuga and we went to Kabalagala police station to dissolve the issue and dismiss the case but unfortunately he was detained. Yes! justice was served but I ought for forgiveness and I take this opportunity to thank I G P Mr. Kale Kayihura for taking my matter as a serious issue and letting justice take it's course. God calls us to forgive and I did that."
