Last night was the third edition of the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards that saw various East African artists, socialites and Big Brother ex-housemates among others grace the occasion. The star studded event was this time around bigger and better, away from the usual venue, MTN Arena to the incredible 5-star Serena Hotel.
Capital FM's Gaetano Kaggwa also a Big Brother Ex-Housemate and Kenyan socialite, Vera Sidika, were the MC's of the night. The fashion event was broadcasted live on NTV. Entry fee was 100k. Tonix and Bebe Cool were among the entertainers. Bebe Cool did his; Kinda Woman, Love You Everyday and his latest simple song, Freedom which he dedicated to the freedom lovers. Other ex-Big Brother housemates who were in the house included Nigeria's Tayo, Tanzania's Idris Sultan and of course our very own former Miss Uganda Stella Nantumbwe (Ella) and Esther Akankwasa better known as Small Pepper. Some of the highlights of the event included that moment when Meddie Ssentongo was presenting an accolade, Judith Heard who emerged from the backstage to pick her award and of course the Pablo VS. Abryanz moment of choosing the best dressed, it was drama all the way when the nak3d dressed lady was close to taking the award for most dressed.
Outside Serena, MC Kats was busy coordinating things there but he narrowly missed falling off a hoverboard as he tried to learn how to use it. The Rich Gang were nowhere to be seen, at least the roving cameras were not able to grab them, but Jack Pemba of Pemba Sports Africa was in the house and the lady who won the award of 'Best Female Dressed' will forever live to remember last night, she was showered with countless 100$ bills as Jack Pemba chopped his money. Then came the moment everyone was waiting for when Nigeria's RnB Artist, Banky W hit the stage with his thrilling performance of s.exual healing...he asked all those who were s.exy to stand up as he did his thing, some did the gyrate dance.
The awarding event was sponsored by Cheki, Capital FM and NTV Uganda among others but like all awards, these ones were criticised to by the voters who claimed that the one's who were voted for did not win.  Their daughter turned 7, a few days back. During the interview, MC Kats caught up with his baby mama on a number of issues ranging from her Extended Play that she will be releasing soon, the two collaboration songs that King Saha agreed to work on with Fille.  Asked what the magic was, and Hellen was like and that is nothing, he is capable of a lot more. "I have two children, Ata and Ark, with my Heaven sent Anwar, we have been together for five years. I am a good person and my hubby is the only one in this world, he was made for me and by the way, that is nothing compared to the things he has done."  In a Snapchat post decorated with green snakes emojis, God's Plan who is currently in the UK has revealed how the 'Bango' singer ended up dating his then girlfriend Sheilah Gashumba. "He used to come to my apartment to chill, drink and eat food..."  Not long back, when Zari was explaining how she hit the rocks with King Bae, who turned out to be romance scammer, she said that it is not about money when it comes to dating her, so even the not so loaded guys were welcome to give it a try, but looking at her new lover, GK Choppa, he seems to be wearing two faces, in him you see a combination of her late hubby and Diamond Platnumz.
